For hole-2 they angled rig 1 (in situ) towards where they believe the core to be with the possibility of partially intersecting it.

Rig-2 was always the one to be aimed at the central core.

Look at the diagrams. I believe they show lcw to be right.

Is there an expert in the house who could provide a definite response?

Well if they have not found the core then it should mean the system is larger than they thought or maybe deeper ?

lcwanderer, It's not what the 13 October RNS said "PDH-20-002.....is targeted to more fully transect the interpreted core of the system".

Hole 2 was never expected to hit the core Lowtrawler. Hole 3 (rig-2) is the one for that.

What I do like about today's RNS is the siting of rigs 3 & 4. Shows real confidence in the size of the system to put them 200m to the South and North of rig 1. Means by Xmas visuals could show that the mineralisation extends over 1000m in depth, 700m in width and 400m long. If the intercepts to the South and North are long you can push that out to 600m long. A huge resource already and if assays are as good as the visuals with great grades.

It's saying to me that we should probably go for a snooze over the next 2 weeks as they are stacking up the blockbuster announcements to be made at roughly the same time.

This smacks of some tactical game being played. They would originally have had a quote for time from lab before making public time scales.

It actually says between 2 and 3 weeks .

By that time the 2nd drill will be another 600 to 900m further down .

Looks like one of the geologists just cleaned up a million .

mwv1, I stand corrected, I believe you are correct and the assay results won't be out next week but probably in 3 weeks time.

The only statement on pdh001 assay in the RNS is 'Final assay results for the entirety of PDH-20-001 are expected over the coming 2 to 3 weeks'. This form of words has not been used in a previous RNS so is not a cut and paste.

Mwv1, that's a cut and paste from the earlier announcement. You need to read further down where they say imminent.

I don't have any skills to interpret the geological data and so can only base my investment attitude on:1. Trust in the SOLG team.2. Unscientific comments like dripping with copper.3. Comparison to Alpala drills (hole 1 seems better in almost all respects).4. Size of site, 3x bigger than Alpala.5. Length of mineralisation found.6. Still haven't found core?Even when the assay results are published, I will struggle to interpret what they mean for overall MRE. To that extent, I am trading on faith and will gladly listen to interpretations made by those with more skill.

Read today's RNS it says 2-3 weeks from now for the full length assays for hole PDH001. I am also disappointed as was expecting next week as they did say a minimum of 3 weeks for assay return. I take from today's RNS that they are not hitting the minimum.

Yes but in the section on hole PDH-001 they say the drill core assays are 2-3 weeks away.

All that's happened is they have said 2-3 weeks for assays on hole 1 and traders have taken the opportunity to trade out for a few days while the US election happens.

If this was a £5m mcap company with the only asset of Porvenir, would the market also just shrug on the news and say it needs assays for proof? Hello no, it would rocket and go nuts. Crazy logic applies to Solg at the moment. Nevermind all the other drills and PFS.

I can understand most PI,s are waiting for confirmation assays . What i dont understand is why anyone would sell when those assays could be out on Monday .

Still i will buy more when things calm down .
