03/11/2024 21:03 | In that case Bron, Tende may have been right when they said that the delay in Angola was out of their hands. Maybe that wan't a lie? | vatnabrekk
03/11/2024 20:49 | Ive been of the opinion for years that the brief for Sirius petroleum was simply to aquire the funding.Bobo .Neale and Lyons .The dream team at Berkeley square gentlemans club putting together loans from individuals.Lyons was there because he knows what he is talking about in terms of oil and gas and Neale well respected for his expertise in securitised loans and bonds heading up Michael spencers company.Bobo the face of Sirius who would follow instructions and do aa he was told for a significant wage packet.I suspect we will never know who was the brains behind it all.Just a date and a price is all we need to know..Nearly there?? | bronislav
03/11/2024 20:13 | Thank you rugbybloke. Trouble is, many people don't believe a word that Tende says or writes. | vatnabrekk
03/11/2024 20:08 | Tende already stated ETU were heading up negotiations in Angola | rugbybloke
03/11/2024 20:07 | Even if they come back at 10p IT WILL NEVER BUY BACK THE YEARS OR MAKE UP FOR THE UTTER DISREGARD FOR THOSE VERY PEOPLE THAT FUNDED THIS through thick and thin earlier. | riskybisky
03/11/2024 19:40 | Does anyone really believe that Tende was heading up the negotiations in Angola? No way. ETU have a much closer relationship with Sonangol and they are a much bigger organisation, and they are a proper oil company. So would it be unreasonable to assume that ETU is the lead negotiator on behalf of the consortium? And that Tende’s role is to find the funding? | vatnabrekk
03/11/2024 19:20 | I agree risky! | vatnabrekk
03/11/2024 19:20 | Does anyone remember that episode of Alf Garnett in sickness and in health when he came into all that money and he sat around a table that is filled with every bit of tasty food you can think of gauging himself on a massive feast of different meat and roast potatoes and bottles of champagne. Hopefully it would be nice to think that will be us this Xmas. We can dream 😂🤞 | deadly nightshade
03/11/2024 18:47 | Why was it so important that Tende to make the Angola deal via a J/V with ETU....while AET completed their deal on their own? from AET... Block 3/05A PSA, Angola: Afentra Angola Ltd 21.33%, Sonangol (Operator) 33.33%, M&P 26.68%, Etu Energias 13.33% and NIS-Naftagas 5.33%. | htrocka2
03/11/2024 18:43 | With the lack of an extension to the AR is it possible we are close to a significant announcement. | bronislav
03/11/2024 14:37 | I agree with what you were implying | ace1976
03/11/2024 14:31 | No I don’t think I said that. | vatnabrekk
03/11/2024 12:47 | Vatna so you are saying the accounts will probably never be released as it’s getting sold right | ace1976
03/11/2024 12:39 | HT, yes it's NNPC's oil because NNPC owns the OML65 licence. So NNPC own all of the oil in the ground, and all of the oil that's produced out of the ground. That has never been in dispute, as far as I'm aware. The Tende-COPDC consortium are contracted by NNPC to produce oil from OML65, and they sub-contracted Baker Hughes to manage the operation. The Tende-COPDC consortium are paid a fee by NNPC for each barrel that they manage to produce. I don't believe that is in dispute either. But whether that contractual arrangement is still in place seems to be in doubt by some. We will surely get an answer to that when the Accounts are released, if indeed that ever happens! | vatnabrekk
03/11/2024 12:06 | The Edward Lear musings of Rocka make him an ideal candidate for the BoD, dining on slices of quince right now. Rocka for Chairman. Can't do any worse than the "transformative deal", "fully intend to relist" nonsense that is spouted annually. | dr rosso
03/11/2024 11:01 | Thankfully you aren't running the company Ht. | d0kita
03/11/2024 10:39 | vat....'Abura was running at a rate of 13,000 bod...'...that's on a par of saying that we have Phase 1 of the AWP in the North Sea that's producing 25m bopd... Just look at some of the wording used in their COPDC pro-mo..'designed',' There's no need to take anyones word for the current production figures of Phase 1....just take a look at the AR.... This is an extract from the Afentra Interims.... Operational Summary - Gross average combined production for the period to the end of June 2024 for both Block 3/05 and 3/05A was 22,701 bopd (Net: B3/05 6,416 bopd; B3/05A 280 bopd). - Field Operations progressed in H1 2024: o 15 light well interventions (LWI) were completed delivering an overall 2,500 bopd increase to field production, a further campaign of up to 20 LWIs commenced at the end of June. YES.....Abura is doing well, which belongs to NNPC......but there is NOTHING in the results that suggest were producing oil from Nigeria....Plenty of waffle...but no oil. Inception date.. 2020...and it's nearly 2025...if it takes this long to get oil out of the ground.....then we're all 'p+ssing against the wind. | htrocka2
03/11/2024 09:16 | Yes 1alfi, that was an email issued on 6th December last year. I'm not sure it was a "Phantom" email, it was circulated to those who had taken the trouble to register on the company's web site for news updates, which I did, so anyone who didn't register wouldn't have got a copy. But it certainly had nothing to do with people who knows the directors, because I don't. For me the most interesting bit of information in that email was the statement that production at Abura was running at a rate of 13,000 bopd, and yes I did believe that because that tied in with what we knew from other reports, 10,000 bopd at the point when the consortium took over management of the operation plus the increment that was expected to take place. I saw nothing in the email to mis-believe, so it wasn't a case of taking what the BoD say as gospel, no blind faith involved. If anyone wants to believe that there is currently no production taking place at Abura, then that is their right. As we have heard nothing from the company regarding production at Abura since then, it could well be the case that it has stopped at some point during 2024, although I think that is highly unlikely, and I haven't seen or heard any evidence to support that theory. | vatnabrekk
03/11/2024 08:36 | Vat "I'm not taking everything the company says as gospel, I really don't know why you are saying that" If my memory serves me correct wasn't there a 'phantom' email circulating from the company some months ago. Can't remember the content, but that seemed to be believed well enough from the select few who received it. | 1alfi
02/11/2024 19:05 | That would simplify everything if it plays out like that hey Bron. How ironic if after all these years of waiting and waiting the ending may play out very swiftly when it comes? One can hope 🤞 | deadly nightshade
02/11/2024 18:50 | Im glad youve answered rossos post HTROCKA i find your answers fascinating interesting and stimulating.i wonder if Trafigura are nomora.what say you HT? | bronislav
02/11/2024 18:10 | I'd like to answer Dr's post....137786 'Going to be interesting to see what these extra security assets are.' Tende Energy North Africa....could prove problematic?...being a new entity could be the reason for the hold up so as not to be included into the 'present and future assets' part of the deed....whereas if they left it alone...it couldn't count......Maybe they're in talks with Petropolymer....to keep it out?....as the current Cosmos programme is dependant on Trafigura backing....which would be unlikely if the shares are held by a third party... | htrocka2 |
