Here is a bit of humour for the more mature holders here:

The key to a long marriage (My 85 year old uncle, a retired investment stock broker, used to tell this to his clients. He told it to me and I thought I'd share it)
A pastor was addressing his congregation about marriage and staying together. He asked his flock:

"How many couples have been married for 1 year?"

a bunch of hands rose

"How many couples have been married 5 years?"

Still a lot of hands rose

"How many 10 year couples do we have?"

Less hands started to go up

"What about 25 years?"

Only a few hands rose at this point

"What about 50 years?"

Only one couple raised their hands

"Wow, 50 years. You younger couples should take advice from them, true dedication to their relationship to last that long"

After the sermon, a younger couple came up to the older couple and said "We've only been married for a couple years, and it's been kinda rocky lately, do you have any advice for us on how to stay together?"

The old man looked at his wife and then back at the younger couple. "Well, we always had relationship problems throughout our marriage, and at one point I told my wife that if we make it to 25 years, I'll take her to Hawaii to celebrate."

"Wow, that's really special. What did you promise her if you made it to 50 years?" asked the younger man

"I promised That she could come back home again"

Not quite sure what 'wonga' are up to here... but as they've an interest in SRSP via converted shares I thought I'd post this item....the bottom line being....the company, ICON, recently 'kicked them out' and found another source of funding, however, within the last two days 'wonga' have gone from 0% and currently closing in on a compulsory take over percentage of the company,.....I'm not sure what their game plan is?....but I doubt SRSP have heard the last of these dodgy characters.

We are on the side of the fence where we get cow pats slung on us on a daily basis as the days months and years tick by with all our money tied up In this donkey of a company.Not a single piece of news has amounted to any pi profit long term just being screwed more the longer we hold.

I suppose it depends on which side of the fence you stand. If you are a director of SRSP, 12 years of successfully milking a cash cow.

stand back and look at this in the cold light of day. How can any credible Board not deliver a single concrete result in 12 years, not even getting a drill bit turning, and remain in the job!!!!You have to come to the conclusion that the company has been run as a retirement fund for the club members. Investors hung in with the hope that they just might slip a deal over the line that would give some return but everything known about this venture says it has never been run for investors. And sadly all we can do again, is hope and pray that even by accident someone gives them a chunk of Licence that they can list on the back of. Even if the listing is only to use to raise more money for the cash cow. At least investors might get a roll of the dice.
