02/10/2020 14:47 | I wonder who had my post removed from June last year. Hmmm | qprallan
02/10/2020 14:37 | ADD pulled the plug due to not being paid. Yet OKeefe, one of the main men at ADD Energy, chose to independently remain with Sirius, taking on the role as Interim COO. Now we find that he is also COO at Anglo Tunisian O&G, and still apparently with Sirius. Ororo field looks to be a total balls-up and a write-off, but there are plenty of other marginals within OML 95 that they may have had some involvement with. Whether they are still pally with Owena, who knows. The issue always seems to be a failure to come up with some kind of upfront funding to get things moving, meaning that they cannot progress onto the much larger funding required for field developments. Pretty clear to me that Adriatic was not deployed because there was no cash to pay Shelf. Yet through this mix of desperation, incompetence and failure, they still manage to pay themselves almost $1m p.a. Maybe the foray into Tunisia will do the trick. | dr rosso
02/10/2020 14:36 | So Dr. Rosso, he wrote: "...I was part of the team that was to be in place for the planning and execution of both Ororo 2 & 3..." Note "planning" and "2 & 3" which clearly indicates that they were only planning for the drilling stage, which never happened. So all talk of work having been done offshore is basically........ Also: "...stood down the entire team end Sep-18 due to non payment..." which was just a month or two prior to when the Adriatic I was due to start drilling at Ororo 2. Tells us something? | vatnabrekk
02/10/2020 14:29 | Would seem to put to bed the theory that Srsp never intended to drill Ororo.Interesting reading, thanks qpr. | astralvision
02/10/2020 14:17 | DrR i posted the following also from Martin on 19th June 2019, but its been deleted for some reason, Allan, good evening, hope all is well. I joined the team in June last year (Lagos) working on some logistical processes and procedures, we also starting inspecting our tubulars. I was also working with a customs broker to try and establish an import plan for the original COSL rig (ex Dubai on a dry tow into Nigerian waters) plus a marine strategy and plan. Subsequently I was in the London office working with a marine broker as we issued a “vessel requirement “ to the market , and was involved in the technical & commercial evaluation. Myself & the entire drilling team were hired through ADD Energy (and the team had conducted a lot of engineering, project planning and procurement prior to my arrival) but it got to a point (due to funding) that the outstanding invoice amount owed to ADD was in the region of +/- $1.5 million, and due to lack of funds the board of ADD stood the entire Operations Team down (until they were to receive a large portion of the debt) I left the London office in late Sep last year, and spoke to some team members early this year. The plan was to get the funding late Q1 2019 and restart and remobilise the team to Nigeria. I believe this has not happened although I saw something recently about a $10 million cash injection. In my opinion this is nowhere near enough to drill the first 2 Ororo wells as the cost estimates were in the region of $40 mill for O2 & O3. Not sure where they are in relation to the contracts they had signed , certain contracts (shorebase facility with INTELS) had not been signed as there was a requirement for an up front payment for “port fees” for vessels transmitting through the Port Harcourt channel to the open sea. Sorry some of the above may not be relevant and too much information but I have seen some of the comments on the share chat website, and there are a lot of people with a serious lack of knowledge. I can assure you that the ADD team (that I was part of) put a lot of time, effort and professionalism into working for Sirius, if the funds had materialised the wells would have been drilled by now, and the off take vessel hook up would be in place now. OK will leave it there, hope this is useful but am not up to speed with the current status. Any other questions feel free to drop me a line. ATVB Martin | qprallan
02/10/2020 13:03 | "Good afternoon. I was part of the Operations Management Team but responsible for the Logistical aspect of the project. I was based in Lagos then London working on the Aviation [Helicopter] Contract, the Shore base [INTELS] Contract, and finalizing the Charter party for Chartering our Support Vessels, liaising with a customs agent in relation to Rig Importation and various other Materials & Logistical items, Also writing procedures. In answer to your question I was part of the team that was to be in place for the planning and execution of both Ororo 2 & 3, and then subsequently managing the "offtake" and all logistical issues around that work scope. Hopefully not talking out of turn but ADD Energy [who I worked through] stood down the entire team end Sep-18 due to non payment of invoice for work already carried out. .... the meetings I attended in Lagos , the atmosphere between all the partners was not great." | dr rosso
02/10/2020 13:02 | I'd rather trust a half naked Elton John dressed as Jon Bon Jovi wandering around on Clapham Common looking for Badgers to tame than what ever the board come out with. | xerot
02/10/2020 12:13 | Thanks for feedback folks. re oml95 and ororo. | bronislav
02/10/2020 11:16 | Ororo was merely a collection hub in the first instance. F13 told me that a deal was done with Chevron Nigeria whereby Sirius/Owena would bring a number of smallish fields back into production to gather the previously flared gas. Shuttled to O2 location which sits on the Isan - Parabe pipeline. Shango, Azama-Ruta and Opolo were the fields if I remember correctly, Shango being pretty big at 70mboe. 02/10/2020 11:14 | @Bron As of yesterday Ororo appears to be still on fire! So I would hope we steer clear of that for the time being. | minichris

02/10/2020 09:47 | Deadly .we have little genuine information to pick through and I wonder just what the true reality is on oml95. | bronislav
02/10/2020 09:03 | If ororo was said on this BB to be the original key that unlocks everything well when that went up in smoke did we need another key?? Step forward oml 114? Is this the smaller vessel with all the support platforms (supply ships) what Sherlock could see with the cruise ships further out that would be activated by the unlocking?? Sherlock also got a bit growled when a comment was made about the Moni P connection on oml 114. Only guessing but we got nothing else to go on | deadly nightshade
02/10/2020 09:00 | Apart from a few snippets at the agm, eg the Alpha convertible loan paid off, there has been no meaningful information released to investors since 05 Sept 2019. It is quite disgraceful the contemptuous way in which shareholders, most of whom will be sitting on good 5-figure sums, continue to be treated. | dr rosso

02/10/2020 07:26 | We have been suspended over a year now , is there a time limit on suspension?Yeah I believe there is Elliot! For each company there are individual variables which effect this! I believe the two main variables for us are:1- when bobos music promoting career takes off2- when it becomes impossible for the bod to raise anymore money to live their luxury lives off the back of their lies! | shez20
02/10/2020 07:13 | The company is a scam , the communication is worst I have ever known . We have been suspended over a year now , is there a time limit on suspension | elliotset |
