HT---The US presidential election will take place in less than 100 days. But it's possible the candidate with the most votes from the public won't be the winner.

This is because the president is not chosen directly by the voters, but what's known as the electoral college.

Don't worry Doc, there are specialists trained to deal with Oliver's sickness, but they haven't met him yet.

Not quite sure what you're on about Oliver...but it certainly is a strange world'..in the last U.S Elections, Hilary Clinton got nearly 3m more votes than Donald Trump....and lost....and it's the same in this country, total overall votes don't count, it's the way the country, population and area is carved up.....but that's democracy for you.

O/T

Although unrelated, it's encouraging and nice to see an O@G 'minow' have a good day....and it was all due to a farm-in. (srsp/atog...perhaps?)

Which one is the doppelgänger?

Which is the correct DO. There are 2 on LinkedIn. Both became COO of Add Energy in Nov 2010. One left in Sep 2019 and the other one is still current. The one that left in Sep 2019 is the one shown as Director - Drilling and Operations at Anglo Tunisian Oil & Gas. Both use different profile photos although one is wearing glasses and could be the same person.

Back to my crossword.

vat...no matter where you look, Dermot O'keefe is always referred to as INTERIM COO for srsp. This specific term has definitive time spans, ie, hired on a 'temporary' basis, as opposed to one of a permanent nature...(I can't find it at the moment, but did read that the srsp's COO 'contract' had, on one occasion, been extended. However, with the 'no drilling on Ororo' rns...it seems pointless to keep hanging onto the services of an Interim COO.....that requires payment.

Ref..Interim Management.
In Summary

While permanent contracts are still dominant in business, in a disrupted environment, interim executives are an indispensable resource for organisations seeking to adapt and change. They bring with them a specific set of skills and experiences, and offer significant expertise and agility.

However, since Dermot is now at ATOG....SRSP still have a tenuous link...which begs the question, what happens if Ororo comes back to life?

Hi Allan

Agreed it should be on the SRSP website but we know the answer to
that. In regards to LinkedIn I disagree mate, as I know many people who do not update their history, especially dates. There is no obligation to do so neither. GLA

Dermot O'Keeffe was employed by Add Energy as COO from Nov. 2010 to Sept. 2019, so he was not employed directly by SRSP, but presumably he was acting as SRSP's COO during that time, i.e. hired from ADD Energy.

Yes I appreciate that futureisbright, however I would have expected it to be mentioned in his LinkedIn profile and his name doesn't appear on the Sirius website under directors.
