I really was expecting (naively!) to get some kind of update by the end of September.
Still trying to stay positive!

"what about the holders of 43.2% of the company?"

Suppose your right and it's 'largely us......that makes things even worse....and I'd be worried if I was part of the remaining 57%.

ht - nearly all those holders you have listed are nominee accounts which are what all of us on here are probably part of. They are holding shares on our behalf.

bestdeal1......If you think we have problems....what about the holders of 43.2% of the company?....They have also been 'locked in'. I'm sure 'pressure' is being applied by these holders. (If this lot decide to 'act in concert'...the top management will have problems. Let's be honest, with the amount of progress, or the lack there of,they've done well to keep their jobs this long)

We all invested on the basis ororo was the bread and butter of this investment the safe gauranteed producer and stepping stone to bigger things, since it went up in smoke that's a decade plus of time wasted along with all the other deals that came to zero. Get this new deal announced we need some hope here moving forwards!

of course this would first and foremost be based on the understanding that the BOD sees itself as having a duty to inform investors. This is a principle that SRSP clearly do not appear to have. Investors are just hangers on and don't need to be told anything.

Most ppl are now aware of who deal 1 is with, so can`t see the point of continued Co. silence and secrecy. We simply wait for the announcement giving details of the link up with ATOG. Likely focus on gas. Whatever the Tunisian arrangement turns out to be, it should be a stepping stone to much bigger stuff allegedly lined up back in Nigeria. The Ororo asset is off the menu until Owena sorts out the litigation issue. As for timing of news release, well, supposedly imminent ....

The website is pitifully out of date eg focusing on Ororo, eg stating Jack Pryde`s age as 72 when he is 75, and so on. Needs a complete overhaul.

doug..
'...ships must have engines problems'...engines seized up...no oil.

What a strange world we live in...of all the millions of pounds lost by LCF stuck into various losing projects....ironically, the Oil and Gas investment was the only one that made money...(they should have let srsp continue with the ororo drill..)

Maybe srsp should buy a few shares in this company...and make them our new partners.
