vat....
'21 December 2017'...that' 3 weeks after the TP presentation and about five months after Schlumberger said they would dill in Q3, 2017. H1 includes JUNE 2018.....so at least they've confirmed that they've not 'pulled the plug' on the deal by pushing the date back.

PS.... Not sure if this is relevant but interesting all the same. The new BP boss is an ex Schlumberger director....and based in London.(I wonder if he's heard of Sirius Petroleum?)

26 April 2018

BP announced today that it has appointed Helge Lund to succeed Carl-Henric Svanberg as chairman of BP.

Mr Lund will join the BP Board as chairman designate and a non-executive director on 1 September 2018. He will be appointed chairman on 1 January 2019. Mr Lund will have a base in London.

Mr Lund, who is also chairman of Novo Nordisk AS in Denmark, will stand down with immediate effect from his directorship at Schlumberger, the global oil service group

"The initial Ororo-2 well program aims at delivering an initial production of 2,700 bopd in H1 2018." That was published on 21 December 2017.

Of course the report doesn't say in which month in H1, so they could have been talking about any time from January through to June. And to be as vague as that when writing in December would indicate that they really weren't sure at that time when spud might take place.

We have another date..... Considering that Schlumberger had stated in their Q2 results that they would assist the Ororo operation during Q3 2017. Later, in November, we got the TP presentation with their various drill dates. However, a couple of weeks after the TP presentation Schlumberger came out with a statement that disregards all previous party dates and superseded their own Q2/Q3 reference with the following publication.......*note the bottom line.

the only bit of logic i can put to this is thr bit where they said rig deposit needs paying 60 days before rig mobalisation. well they said deposit paid in march so 60 days from them takes us into may before rig moves. why bobo would then say drilling in april is a mystery

If I had 120 million I would buy the company and shut it down. Give everyone their money back they had lost and send the board to go and live in Jaywick as a punishment for this ridiculous company.

dgarvey....nice one, the only problem is that 'infield.com' also reported the 'Power' being in Nigeria....maybe they both collided into each other and sank....that's why no one can find them.

if i was the lucky punter who won that 120 million on the euro millions last night i would have put a big buy order for sirius shares just to see if it would alter the mm's way of thinking up. i would love to put a 7 million quid buy order in and see how they react with the share price

Deadly, in any normal business world constant failure would mean a board's removal. Just saying that's all.
