Would agree with your take Vatna, June spud if they get a shift on.It's interesting that some on these boards focus on the bigger picture, being multiple assets acquired and developed via innovative financing and some on operational progress.I would like to think these two are not mutually exclusive and I want to see both operations and asset progress.I'm getting a strong feeling that the picture that we see on the face of it is not the true picture. ie for anyone looking in here they would see umpteen drill deadlines come and go and we are about to wave goodbye to as yet another one disappears over the horizon. That is frustrating and when it comes to 'own goals' the bod have shown they are up there with the best. But I'm taking a slightly different attitude. The March deadline was explained and certainly the deal was an improvement and any delay marginal. We've yet to hear the reasons for the latest delay. It may sound like there must be umpteen folks hanging around doing f-all whilst our rig suns itself in Dubai. But from what I can make out there is a helluva lot of stuff going on right now.Perhaps someone has taken their eye off the ball wrt the rig or perhaps it's just one of those delays that can happen in this business. It's always a difficult line to walk, tell investors the timetable as it is or perhaps add a few months on for good measure would have been sensible. On the face of it they have not managed investors expectations at all well wrt Ororo2 and naturally that causes investors to question their core competencies.It also gives ammunition to all sorts of wild conspiracy theories, which, although understandable don't pass the 'is it sensible and consistent' 5 minute think test. So they have not covered themselves with glory in this episode.Yet, putting things into perspective, we are a mere 4 months past the point where we actually had all the tools to do something. That's not a great deal of time although I can appreciate many have been waiting far longer than that and every further week of waiting can feel like an intolerable burden.Unless I'm reading this all wrong then to try and bottom line this lengthy post, I believe a lot of good stuff is going to happen and that happening is going to be 'soon'. That's an often misused word in the investing world, up there with 'shortly' and 'imminent', please fill in your own understanding for what they mean! But, imo, it's now or never for SRSP. They have got everything they need to make this work and the few mutterings that filter back are indicating that far from hanging around waiting for COSL to shift a rig, things are proceeding very well and that they are working their collective nuts off.When might investors at least see some of the fruits of their endeavours? Well, 'shortly' is the answer, I believe!Hold on tight, I think this is going to be good. imo.In the meantime where's that rig/hlv!

If they are to have any chance of drilling in May then the rig would need to leave UAE this coming week. And that's not looking very likely at the moment. So it's looking like spud in June.

Turner & Pope's July spud date is looking more plausible by the day.

Why establish a partner consortium only to then shift contracts to a larger party who doesn’t need them? Why engage with Reyl and develop innovative and highly complex financing if we don’t actually plan to use any money / or will raise it via a sale of Ororo? Etc.... etc....

Let's hope they do something and soon.. no more self imposed deadlines going down the pan and year after year of dillution and delays, get the bloody deals done and let's see some value return.

Expensive brand new plush office in the centre of St. James. What better location to influence Nigerian marginal field owners to farm-out their assets in return for cash.
Having received approaches, new lean Sirius seems to have its pipeline of assets lined up already. As for drilling Ondo's twin babies, 95 and 241, I think we can wave goodbye to those, the incoming body is prob content to buy on the basis of the appraisal data. Wouldn't surprise me if the deal wasn't sorted with Owena/GP back in 2012. Set the whole thing up (technical + funding) for our COSL-linked Chinese mid-tier associate and you get an agent's fee, 10% of what it's worth, developed to the point of production.

Ondo State website finally reveals that its o&g reserves are in the region of 4 billion barrels. That's basically the twin blocks over which Sirius holds transferable options. Shift those contracts over and get on with the new direction managed from Bury St.

shez ive got thousands invested here and its more out of hope then expectation, i don't do the lottery i just buy sirius shares instead and hope that i have got more then a 1 in 14 million chance of winning but i wont hold my breath lol

trouble is we are all guessing and hoping here, if that rigs not moving within the next week i struggle to see how we will even be drilling in may. the stable share price fills me with confidence as the people in the know are streets ahead from what we as pi's know and all was not well the mm's would be smashing the backside out of the share price, if the share price dips below 0.80 i will start thinking all is not well. although its hard to beleave considering where we are at the moment we are very fortunate to have a share price sitting at 0.92p.
