09/4/2018 19:57 | The RNS dated 12th March stated: "...it is anticipated, weather conditions permitting, that drilling of the Ororo-2 well will now commence in April 2018..." and: "...currently offshore UAE and is therefore ready to be mobilised to Nigeria shortly." If the stated start date for drilling (note drilling, not just arrival on location) was to be met, it would have meant that they would have had to start moving the rig from the UAE no later than the end of March. (Which date, as it happens, was the date that the Zhi Yuan Kou arrived at Abu Dhabi to unload the AOS Intervention.) If it was their intention to start moving the rig around 31st March, but didn't, then something unexpected much have arisen between 12th March and the end of March, to cause them to change the mobilisation start date. We don't know what, and unfortunately we don't know how long the delay might last, but I think we can be confident that they (i.e. SRSP and COSL) will be moving heaven and earth to resolve the issue as soon as they possibly can. It seems strange, though, given the confident tone in the RNS, that something important and unexpected could spring up in the short time between issuing the RNS and three weeks thereafter. | ![]() vatnabrekk
09/4/2018 19:38 | I agree entirely deadly, but it seems that is just not how SRSP works! | ![]() vatnabrekk
09/4/2018 19:32 | ileeman how about this for a proper informative RNS which would have been more helpfull to all long serving shareholders here, the rns would have helped more if it was worded like this. We have paid the deposit of 1.5 million on xyz day so as to enable us to commence rig mobalization, we will be employing the use of xyz HLV to transport the rig and and we anticipate it wil take xyz days for the rig to reach the ororo field and a further xyz to set the rig up before weather permitting we will be hoping the drill will then commence on roughly xyz date. its not rocket science is it??? | ![]() deadly nightshade

09/4/2018 17:54 | They have a habit of not meeting deadlines so many just don’t believe them anymore. You obviously do so good luck with that. | ![]() twentysixpointtwo
09/4/2018 17:43 | Jenny they announced rig mob commencing just a few weeks ago and it feels like people just want to be babysat every step of the way. What can they do? release another RNS saying rig is still being mobilized then another RNS saying rig is still being mobilized...people will never be happy. Point is they have never released a rig mob RNS before so they must be confident. | ![]() ileeman
09/4/2018 17:08 | I believe that the COSLForce was last on charter in the Saleh field, but I don't know when she came of hire. Seems she is still in that region, supported by the AOS Neptune. | ![]() vatnabrekk

09/4/2018 17:02 | deadly. Exactly - if the company was confident enough to announce spudding in April - and for what ever reason, a further delay has cropped up, who to say it's not gonna be a twelve month delay - or five year delay? Point is, we're all in the dark - anything could be happening and nothing could be happening. | ![]() jenny tulwought
