Understandable people are moaning given past but lets not forget the macro climate years ago, it was awful for companies such as SRSP.

This time round SRSP are very well placed, unless they have straight up lied in the RNS which is against the law then we will see SRSP drilling late April or May, lets face it even May is fine.

How much longer can this stay below 1p? I have continued to add on dips because I do think if this reacts like most AIM stocks we will see a significant rise over next month or so.

Not for a moment do I expect everyone to agree with my opinion, but having kept the faith and topped up whenever funds allowed me to, I have never lost faith in this outfit.

Many would have wished them beaten to near death for all their broken promises, but I always gave them the benefit of the doubt.

A cunning plan is in progress and the end result is about to be revealed.

The insidious lumps of dirt who have been deramping for years have turned their attentions elsewhere.

That in itself is a positive sign.

Not long to wait now.

End of the tax year today....and they managed to get the share price down for tomorrow...a good entry point for the new ISA allowance.

There are scenarios which take the prevailing market sentiment completely out of the equation. For example, a suspension, asset revelations and an automatic re-rate upon readmission would be a nice reward for those who have kept the faith.

Waiting for next week`s revelation moment when we should find out that Agent Sirius, on behalf of Ondo State, has completed its pre-production tasks on the pipeline of assets. All eyes on the new body coming in to complete the consortium which will manage all aspects of contracts relating to rig, drilling schedule and field/block developments.

my thoughts are the same as you vat i would be shell shocked if this lot do keep to a timeframe, ive always said nothing hgas ever been simple with this share, probably why the market fails to get excited about it

Of course we don't know when they made the decision to swap rigs, so we don't know when the $1.5M was actually paid. And COSL may not be insisting on the 60 days any more.

I have no doubt that the COSL FORCE will be delivered to Ororo, and I have never suggested otherwise. I am just rather perplexed that it would appear (emphasis on the APPEAR!) that the rig is still where it was and that if so, they cannot possibly start drilling by the end of April.

But does that matter? Well not really, we have waited longer, and SRSP haven't met a single deadline in the past 10 years, as far as I am aware, so why would they change now! But it is nevertheless frustrating to keep waiting again and again, and to witness yet another delay without any notification.

thats a fair point vat but why do they then come out with a statement of drilling in april. in the ad it said deposit needs paying 60 days prior to rig mobalization so have we got to wait 60 days from the last rns where they said 1.5 million has been paid.

I think the point being made is that when they say that they have "commenced mobilisation" that doesn't necessarily mean that they have started to physically move the rig, it means that they have commenced the mobilisation process, and physical movement of the rig might be shortly after that.

This suggestion is supported by a further statement in the RNS "currently offshore UAE and is therefore ready to be mobilised to Nigeria shortly."

I agree iLeeman, and, furthermore, that statement was made less than 4 weeks ago, suggesting that so recently our BoD were confident but that they could deliver.

"When they say mobilisation of rig there is more to it than just
move the rig."

It is a very confident statement, never seen before in any RNS SRSP have made.

Whilst people bicker about what ship it is and isnt, I have added more another 250000 dip. Even if drill goes slightly into May that is fine with me.

When they say mobilisation of rig there is more to it than just
move the rig. They have people, equipment and supplies that go with this also,
which is all part of the mobilisation, along with readying the site for
arrival in Nigeria.

I don't really care whether they drill, suspend or dance the wild fandango - just do something!!! I hope the announcement of an April drill comes true and is not just an attempt to get more money from pis and the impending ISA allowance. All the 'funding in place' at present is just that. Still in place

The drilling of ORORO will be the starting gun that kicks everything into play, no doubt followed by confirming the rns below, posted back in 2012 (when they nearly drilled but the macro picture and lack of funds put everything on the back burner)

If you think SRSP require drilling the Ororo field to give the share price a boost then your research is poor. Rigs, boats, engineers, flow rates all irrelevant. Do you think the BOD even care.Ororo is a means to an end. It's all about the pipeline of assets and the real reason the company was set up. We finally have the backing and the finances to conclude the long awaited strategy.Await suspension and the announcement of 10% of Nigeria's oil reserves being handed to the consortium. APRIL

think that is historic info, if you see this link it would appear Neptune's ETA with COSL Force was, rather appropriately, 1st April.

The AOS Neptune, lying offshore in the entrance to the Arabian Gulf, shows its destination as "COSL FORCE". Does this mean that it is standing by / attending the rig, still in that location? I don't know, just a thought.
