08/4/2018 21:08 | 26.2 - Frustrated? I’ve been invested almost 6 years now and didn’t for one minute imagine being sat here in 2018 with the share price under a penny. But this is balanced against some positive things that I also didn’t anticipate when I started buying. I believe there’s ample clues that good things are in store for investors, hence I’ll only become frustrated if it looks like the bigger picture opportunity has gone off the rails. As such, I’m not overly concerned about the current share price or minor fluctuations and I don’t plan to sell until we see much greater company value... which won’t be based solely on Ororo. I don’t bother tracking rig/hlv movements and I view Ororo as an initial part of a much bigger picture and a means to an end, hence if we do indeed need to drill..... we’ll drill. Everything takes longer in Nigeria, which is probably compounded further when you’re working with multiple international partners and trying to do something complex and innovative. So if I do have to wait longer to realise an anticipated return on my investment, then so be it. I’m perhaps fortunate that I don’t need the money straightaway. All that really matters to me is eventually seeing significant shareholder value. As far as I’m concerned the share price until then is largely irrelevant. I appreciate my views will be completely at odds with many here, but you asked the question. | sherl0ck
08/4/2018 16:29 | Big muscular bound! Bruno Musicale bound! Has the USA any in this interest in this Company? "Do you know what i mean Harry?" | oliversanvil
08/4/2018 16:27 | Ah well we've got some frustration of our chests just have to be positive a new weeks about to begin anything can happen and we all know it's just a waiting game hopefully not much longer. | aventador
08/4/2018 14:00 | I agree SL. Far too much emphasis being put on the ISA allowance. I don't believe for one second that CSOL, SRSP Directors etc. are holding up the rig and the whole drilling process here just to make a few £thousands on their ISAs! | vatnabrekk
08/4/2018 12:35 | ISA was never going to be a starter and hadn’t been for years £20k is too small and well ignored by directors. So forget ISA as part of the plan it’s rubbish | solarno lopez
08/4/2018 12:16 | if some of us longterm holders are still sceptical then i suppose its no surprise any outside investors looking in are and thats why the share price is stuck. i did say the other week when all them twitter lot were buying in and mouthing off about quick drill and 50% rise pre spud that they might just have got themselves locked in here with the rest of us. what i find frustrating is as far as i'm concerned every rns leaves more questions then answers. before we know it we will be half way through this year again. | deadly nightshade
08/4/2018 11:01 | Ask the roofer Sherlock, he's got an answer for every thing. It's not what you know, but who you know 😂 | cautioussid
08/4/2018 10:51 | Deadly - I’m afraid I think that what you and many others have wanted just doesn’t seem to be aligned to the strategy and real intentions of this company. If it was then Sirius would have certainly found a way to drill Ororo independent of anything else a long time ago. Can anyone name another O&G company in the world that has held a smallish asset for nearly 7 years without drilling a single well / flowing any oil and yet not only still remains in existence but has more recently attracted big partners and big money? It’s clearly ALL about the much bigger picture here and not just developing Ororo. As & when Ororo is actually drilled (one or two even contest it will never be by Sirius, at least not in our current guise!) it signifies that other things are either at, or are nearing a point of readiness too. This I think is what’s largely baffled the market and continues to breed distrust and scepticism. Really bad news for all of us hoping for a much quicker return that isn’t measured in ‘years’. Really good news if you put all the various clues together, believe something significant is nearing completion and want to increase your equity exposure at a still potentially compelling price level. 26.2 - will get back and answer your question shortly... | sherl0ck
08/4/2018 10:42 | as someone posted the other day the lack of concrete rig news and constant missed deadlines seems to be keeping the share price in a range. i know it might sound daft but i couldnt give a stuff about other assets i would just be happy to see ororo drilled and draw the benefits a d tax advantages of that. | deadly nightshade
08/4/2018 09:06 | Sherlock, genuine question here. At what point do you become frustrated with the perceived slow progress as many of us quite clearly are ? | twentysixpointtwo
08/4/2018 08:59 | My comment about our involvement in establishing a 25-30 year project has been completely misunderstood by some. The timescale, which was mentioned after an AGM, conveys the magnitude of what we’re engaged in and demonstrates approximately how long oil & gas will be flowing and to the benefit of Nigeria etc. Of course we’ll see significant shareholder value long before the hydrocarbons run dry! I thought this was obvious but oh well...... | sherl0ck
08/4/2018 08:49 | If the rig is still in UAE then they won't be able to spud until sometime in the second half of May. | vatnabrekk
08/4/2018 08:47 | Yep always a few weeks let's hope so this time. | aventador
08/4/2018 08:44 | Sirius has made an initial deposit payment of $1.5m to COSL.It will happen , with in next few weeks chill out | elliotset
07/4/2018 23:09 | yep we can only but dream of riches. just be nice if they actually stuck to a drill date for once in 10 years. thats my rant over for tonight roll on next week fingers crossed for some news. good weekend all | deadly nightshade
07/4/2018 22:45 | Lol deadly I think so but imagine all the potential assets they may or may not of acquired in that time ;) | shez20
07/4/2018 22:28 | shez that 25-30 year plan is that the timeframe to get ororo into production? | deadly nightshade
07/4/2018 22:12 | 25-30 year plan deadly ;) | shez20
07/4/2018 22:09 | my main concern is the slow snail pace that this lot work at if they can't get a drill bit in ororo after all these years then how many more years will we be waiting before so called bigger oil fields can be cash generating. just hope things stay stable in nigeria because knowing the luck of this share if it ever does manage to gaon traction then we will probably have a change of government with all the good work put at risk. if we are to drill in may then in my opinion we need a rns this coming week. april drilling has surely got be now be a very unlikely and we need the rig moving with next 10 days to make may drilling likely. | deadly nightshade
07/4/2018 21:58 | The reason we are valued at only ororo is that's all with have and we can't seem to get a drill within a 100 mile radius of it | shez20 |
