How long does it take to carry out the pre-drilling preparation? Perhaps they are not ready for the rig yet.

Gotta to be a straight take out with this delay surely it can't take this long to make a document they have been sitting on for years ? I can't see it coming back in the same guise as it was before as Sirius has done its job and now time to hand over to people that know about oil production surely ?

Vatna... Schlumberger were here virtually from day 1...I wouldn't rule them out....especially as the Chairman of Owena Oil and Gas is an Ex Shlum' (Nigeria) CEO.

Possibly the new operating company will consist of a merger among Owena, Guarantee and SRSP, with a new Chairman, CEO and Board of Directors.

Interesting, that part of the AD process is that a TR-1 'Major shareholding' list must be issued (that includes every one). We'll then see who owns what. (I posted an example as RHL are already suspended and is chaired by our 'old' boss Toby Hayward)






(ps...I wouldn't be surprised to learn that 'Owena oil and Gas', possibly even 'Guarantee Petroleum', own a large chunk of us already considering they've got to yield 55% of Ororo between them to SRSP.)

AD for NewCo was prob sorted shortly after the joa parties signed. Publication awaiting Sirius completing its pre-production field tasks before bowing out.

I'm not referring to how long it takes to prepare the AD document, I'm referring to how long it may take to carry out the pre-drilling preparation work. I don't know how long that would normally take.

I am quite sure that they will have been beavering away at the pre-drilling preparation. But I'm not sure exactly what work is involved in that, nor how long it might take. We may, or may not, be losing time by this on-going suspension at the moment.

The Ororo Field is located within Oil Mining Lease (OML 95). It lies in shallow waters offshore Ondo State in water depths ranging between 23ft and 27 ft. The field is adjacent to Mina, West Isan, Ewan, Eko and Parabe fields - all of which are operated by Chevron.

SRSP mentioned these in an rns.. Chevron did offer them up for the Marginal bid round...but were quickly withdrawn (we assume that SRSP now control them) The problem is the same as with ORORO, being oil wells, may need to be brought up to speed to comply with new gas flaring regulations hence Chevron's disposal....and are now integrated into SRSP's 'HUB'.
