28/10/2017 21:44 | But what did pg DO in his 7 months stint? | dr rosso
28/10/2017 18:14 | Ht, thats probably why mr gregory was hired because of his wiser older head and experience and connections in all things oil. the fact that at this point of the project he needs replacing tells you that there must be work to do to bring this to a conclusion. i wonder what pat plunkett is up to over at providence resources as he too has a simular age and experience profile and having worked for tullow oil must have african oil knowledge. we need a guy of his calibre to fill the big void left by the sad loss of mr gregory | deadly nightshade
28/10/2017 10:11 | 'I note that PG was said to be "working tirelessly". A sad loss to family and Company. But what actually did he do in his time here?' I would imagine that co-ordinating half a dozen contracted and experienced global players in the oil and gas industry on a large complicated project, possibly all vying for supremacy, is a job I wouldn't want to take on baring in mind that programmes and schedules have to be kept with contracts that may possibly be constantly changing hence effecting the originally agreed terms and price not to mention maintenance of supply chains, etc, etc. Let's hope that the BOD get hold of a COO sharply so as to maintain the current work programme and bring this lot to a conclusion. | htrocka2
27/10/2017 21:42 | Seems like ADD's hired-out consultant, Mr Gregory, and Mr Lyon ex-Suncor, were both renowned experts in big gas, one a head driller, the other a dealmaker. Crucial members of the operational team, yet both were kept quiet, and neither appointed to BoD. Why? I note that PG was said to be "working tirelessly". A sad loss to family and Company. But what actually did he do in his time here? | dr rosso
27/10/2017 20:07 | If only srsp where more fast at getting oil and gas out of the ground nearly a decade and still zilch. | aventador
27/10/2017 19:26 | Nigeria can't get the gas out of the ground fast enough...... | htrocka2
27/10/2017 18:01 | many thanks drrichard, good news again. | astralvision
27/10/2017 17:55 | Astralvision, Brent crude gets a premium as does the light crude that we are after. | drrichard
27/10/2017 17:52 | Nice one drr......we need to get drilling to capitalise on this rise. | htrocka2
27/10/2017 17:51 | Sounds good, can anyone explain why there is around a $6 differential between Brent and WTI crude, shipping costs on oil are very low, so that wouldn't account for it. TIA | astralvision
27/10/2017 17:01 | You guys keeping an eye on Brent Crude? Currently topping $60! | drrichard
27/10/2017 14:46 | The crocodile tears finished yet? People die !! Sad but true. Investments also die ..Look here for evidence! | wiserthanyou
27/10/2017 14:11 | Xerot, you are so right.. While you're at it can I have your shares when we relist? | bumhammer
27/10/2017 13:47 | That's the problem with the world these days, no one cares about anyone else but themselves. Sad state of affairs. Greed is evil, it corrupts the soul. I'd rather be penniless than have zero compassion for others. Kindness and helping others is what makes life worth living not greedily counting your ill gotten gains that you no doubt screwed a lot of people to get. Money and material things don't make you happy or content. It's the relationships you build with people, that's what it's about. | xerot
27/10/2017 13:46 | So everyone else is acting like his best mate apart from you ? No lets not get into a debate about it so this will be my final word on the matter. | 1alfi
27/10/2017 13:38 | Don't wish to get into a debate over it 1alfi. I've said my piece about it. I showed my compassion to the board by sending them a private email offering my regards to them and his family. Sorry I'm not as compassionate as many on this board. | dtoboggan
27/10/2017 10:48 | Understandable frustration fellow posters but hopefully not too long to wait for an update...keeping the faith ...just!!! | bronislav
27/10/2017 09:31 | Xerot, read back my comments...I have said NOTHING against him. All I said was lets get back to business and start a different thread for condolences. Stop your virtue signalling! | undertaker
27/10/2017 08:50 | Undertaker you are the most vile person I have ever encountered on these boards without a shred of decency or humanity. I pity you I really do as you fail to see human cost over dollars and pounds. Something that happens everyday in the world but normally by big companies and powerful individuals but more shocking when it is the likes of you, a small time, mealy mouthed creep. You should be truly ashamed of yourself for your unkind and callous comments about one of our directors over the last few days. Your comments make me feel sick. | xerot
27/10/2017 08:20 | that's more like it...back to business! | undertaker
27/10/2017 07:35 | could still go either way in my opinion, take out or production. maybe mr gregory's job was bringing everything to the point of production and then a possible take out, hence the need for a quick replacement. either way mr gregory's sad passing will be a set back because from his cv he had a lot of links with other oil companies plus experience in oil in africa. it will be interesting to see if malcy's blog has a write up today as malcy knows all people connected to oil. | deadly nightshade |
