Good question Undertaker but my take on this is that for the last six years they have been moving the shares into the right hands, (mine included!), so surely they won't want to upset these holders?

No one going to get screwed over. The bod are also holders.. think they would screw themselves over? Nope...

HT, 3 wells needed to get a gas licence. (Or at least it used to be under the old framework)

Been in this for a very long time and managed over the years to get my average holding down to sub 1p.

What is everyone's realistic estimates as to how this will return?

My only concern is that we may get screwed over by some kind of New co where they exchange its shares for our old share at unfavorable terms (happened to me before).

Obviously i want a favorable outcome!...how many bags are we looking at?!

Bron..... You can disregard the Glencore figure as that number was introduced in an rns on 03/05/2013 and based on an ORORO 1 re-entry. We've moved on since then. On 18/07/2016 SRSP received a permit to drill three separate, deeper wells on Ororo, in effect tripling the then oil production estimate for Ororo..and of course gas was then not a consideration.

10 million for 500000 barrels of oil .irrespective of the price of oil we and bp have in effect set up a hedging agreement.Which if my maths is correct equates to 20 dollars a barrel.
The glencore deal envisaged 60,000 bopd which at $20 per barrel is $1.2 million a day...The 60,000 figure had to be realistic and not just plucked out of thin air,we must have at the time of the glencore deal had a realistic hope of acheiving 60k...
With the crude taken care of it would be speculative to throw names into the mix for a customer for the gas ,given the man buiding a large subsea pipeline in the niger delta we could be forgiven for throwing his name into the mix.
Add gas to the equation and it now becomes clear why the consortium is so mahoosive.

'The 2013 Gaffney cpr on Ororo contains the H+ deeper sands data.'

yep...they kept that very quiet, we never did get the promised ..and paid for, results of the lower sands below Ororo'S TD. The results must have been an influencing factor to drill a further 250m deeper.....and in view of the gas pressure with the Chevron data....implies more gas further down.

The article in question....and we never got the report. (not yet any way...and must have been of significant value to qualify as 'leading to a longer timescale for reporting'.....they certainly have a way with words that keeps it within the AIM disclosure rules.)

Update - Ororo Field and Development Pipeline

Further to the announcement of 31January 2012, the board of directors of Sirius (the "Board") is pleased to provide an interim update on the Competent Person's Report ("CPR") commissioned on the Ororo marginal oil field (the "Ororo Field") from Gaffney Cline & Associates ("GCA"). Progress continues to be satisfactory, and additional data have been procured to support the potential for incremental sands deeper in the field which were not penetrated by the Ororo-1 well. As a result, Sirius has asked GCA to undertake additional analysis with a view to quantifying the potential upside from the additional sands, which has led to a longer timescale in producing the report than initially envisaged.

Graham Lyon has worked wonders here, as we all knew when he joined sirius he was Mr Deal Maker, this AD will be a interesting read thats for sure.

We should get Schlumberger`s full analysis of the seismic data gathered by PGS over the complete OPL 241 block. Make the AD 400 pages+ in that event. Sirius holds a 40% option on the Block so some detail must be disclosed.

'Agent Sirius, job done. Step aside for the new team to come in. What say Lyon appointed as Chairman'

He'll need a few shares...

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the 'price of chips'...but couldn't help but notice that Graham Lyon posted an unusual remark on his 'LinkedIn' blog a couple of days before the BP news was announced....'burnt out, need a break'

Very odd for any investor to still have a negative sentiment here! The bod have achieved what they stated and let's hope the ad doc is a great one for all of us! The bod stated at the agm all cprs etc will be produced with ad doc so we should all have a better understanding of the nature of our investment in the not so distant future! A good time to be a investor here!

Yes basically what was said at the agm now is happening albeit a few months behind schedule next step production and maybe down the line more assets revealed, when producing the share price is certainly going be multiples of the delist price no telling how high though yet have to see what's in the ad doc good luck lths.

Yes - they've been grafting exceptionally hard and have done great to get this far especially with all the set backs we've had along the way. I suppose some of us are a bit tired and weary- it's been a long long road but it could be fantastic - interesting times ahead.
