Interesting share price response to BP giving the green light to the Ororo drilling campaign. Reminds me of SOLO pre Ntorya appraisal well, share price was between 0.19 and 0.22p to the build up to the action there. Folks also thought it was a good idea to use stop losses or sell before the appraisal drilling. Subsequently during drilling and +ve logs the share price hit 0.9p. The difference is here Ororo is 200ft net payable and SRSP are going to drill multiple appraisal wells back to back. Personally I'd hate to be forced out now before the share price has started to rise and the drilling campaign has got underway.

There many be on-line limits but anyone with access to a 'proper' broker there are 3 MM's quoting size of 300K both ways, they have to honour those sizes.

Oh well got stop lossed out at 1.07. Fingers burnt wish I'd sold Monday at 25% profit now rather than a 10% loss. Well you live and learn!!

Bron, I cannot see that there should be a need for a placing now, considering all of the contracts that are lined up and in particular the BP agreement, they should have no trouble getting a bridging facility if they need cash for the short term.

And what about these 40 or so wealthy Nigerians that are supposed to be part of the consortium? Surely they could raid their piggy banks if necessary!

No other reason after all the positive newsflow for dropping the share price than a placing imho..accruals have to be paid and it wont come from the bp cash.1billion shares still available if needed.That to me would signal the start of proceedings ..we shall see .
