black or red...

That's an interesting point...Schlumberger know all about Ororo but maybe it's not Ororo they're waiting for, hence the comment about drilling in H1 as opposed to hydrocarbons in H1. With the changes in gas legislation, previous field development plans had to be revised and passed no doubt with the procurement of additional infrastructure..in fact a possibility exists whereby constructed elements, previously passed and already in place may have to be revamped. (I remember an rns that stated lead in items for Ororo1 re-entry had been ordered...obviously no longer required)

'Perhaps it is not that Ororo has to be in place before every thing then can in time fall into place but that every thing has to be ready in place then Ororo slots in to complete. Which is why it explains the time taking 6 years not two.'

'Company will work with its partners, to put both the Ororo Field and the Oil Block into production, as soon as is practicable'

Lekoil showed that a swamp marginal can become a producing field within 2 years of starting work on it. It lends weight to the theory that Ororo is part of a much bigger surround structure which has been taking shape, being developed over a much longer period of time, with Schlumberger on the scene as far back as 2012.
Similarly Waltersmith Petroman bringing the Ibigwe Field into multi-well production.

But how long until the keystone slots into place?

"In a curved stone archway, the keystone is the one at the very center of the top, locking the whole together. The keystone is the most important stone, that has a special wedge shape and holds all the other stones in position and that's why this word is also used figuratively to mean the most important part of anything.

A stone arch or vault gains its stability from the placement of the keystone, which is often the last one placed. From this architectural meaning, keystone also gained the figurative meaning of "central or most important part," or "the one thing upon which everything else depends."

The most important part of a plan, a structure, an idea, etc. on which everything else depends. The keystone may be tiny but without the structure does not exist.

Perhaps it is not that Ororo has to be in place before every thing then can in time fall into place but that every thing has to be ready in place then Ororo slots in to complete. Which is why it explains the time taking 6 years not two.

Curious there was no named Schlum Exec commenting on the RNS alongside Bobo.

What I find curious is that when COSL signed up...bobo said..
'confident of achieving first Hydro carbons in H1'

ADD signs up and the same.... 'Confident in achieving hydrocarbons in H1'

Then Schlumberger, who has been here from day 1...some five years ago and even gave an Independent Assessment of Ororo and has been prepared to re-enter Ororo1 on a couple of occasions. Even had their promise to drill on the Road Show board, said...'multi well programme to commence H1'

DrR - sadly I wouldn't put too much weight on the timing mentioned in the article as it looks like it's just the journalist's spin on things as they've rehashed the RNS, without additional insight or quotes from Bobo. I'd wager they know far less about the company than most here. Perhaps they're using the Mayan calendar too?!

Cheerful cross dresser - apart from that, correct.

But how is it you knew? - perhaps we're acquainted?

I managed a few at a shade above 0.21. It was on the day when it dropped to record lows and I even had a quote at 0.196 but momentarily hesitated as it was dropping further every few seconds. Someone else grabbed them and my next quoted price was around 0.214p, which I accepted.

Very true sherlock... even at the .25 placing there was a chance to get as low as .22

Agree Sherlock, this has been a great opportunity for anyone with spare funds ,for long termers it has frustrated but I suspect many of those long termers have added at lower prices.£1000at 0.25p will compensate for any in at the top end of 4-5p...
