LEKGAS was incorporated in April 2016, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of LEKOIL Ltd to engage primarily in the midstream segment of the natural gas value chain.
LEKGAS would invest / participate in the development of natural gas transportation and processing facilities, power generation and other gas utilization projects.
Additionally, LEKGAS has a mandate to ensure all upstream natural gas production from LEKOIL Ltd - and its affiliates – is profitably monetized on schedule such that oil production especially from fields with associated gas is not curtailed due to lack of a field export solution for gas.

"To strengthen Sirius’s technical capabilities and, as part of the concluding of the funding, the Company is forming a Technical Advisory Committee (“TAC”) to assist in advising on the technical aspects of its operations. The TAC will comprise a team of experts from the Oil & Gas industry to actively advise the Company on the optimum development of its assets. Whilst the initial focus is on the drilling of the Ororo Field, the TAC will also advise Sirius on the technical aspects of the acquisition and development of further assets in Nigeria. The responsibilities of the TAC include monitoring geological and geophysical interpretation, acquisition and development planning, economic modelling studies and engineering activities."


But why bother with a TAC? Why not simply appoint these ppl onto the BoD? Why the need to remain detached when it is so obvious that this group is pulling the field development strings?

Iran billion barrel oil fields coming on stream ,uncertainty in the price of oil will be one of the factors in the sirius plan being primarily about gas,the other is nigerias demand for gas domestically and further afield with the tran saharan gas pipeline underway.gas gas gas.

Rockflow CPR, (based on Ororo 1 interpretation)

6000bopd and 4310 bopde....the value of gas is nearly 72% of Ororo's production...but with a deeper wells is expected to go higher and could end up being of greater value than the oil.

From the COSL RN
"This Vendor Finance Contract establishes the cornerstone and thereby major element of the operational financing for the Ororo project."

This reads like Ororo is paid for, in the main, with, perhaps Partner 4, in the main, perhaps sealing the credibility and financial clout of the project going forward as "develop our shallow offshore development program"
