Fantastic tune drrosso and very apt indeed. One must keep fighting.
Good to see Wigan regain their form Mr Jarvis whilst my boys remain unbeaten albeit in a division swapped for a season with your lot. My boys will be visiting your actual birthplace in a few weeks in large numbers,I believe it's the 17th. Stay at home pal haha.....

Anyway back to drrosso, I'll trump you with this one, and I do believe you make an appearance at 28 seconds in with your impeccable manner whilst on the phone to Bobo...

I much prefer the partying after Christmas though, like most adults do..........

Good to see you posting Si, hope is well with you and the family and better than the last update I got from Steve. Looks set for a mammoth September here and hopefully we'll be out drinking come end of September.

Could be the burger van. More likely, part of the $20bn oil money that's gone missing from Nigerian coffers.

I'm sorry if its beyond your comprehension but we are talking about Nigeria here. So come on then - someone give me a credible answer as to how Guarantee have got such a huge tax bill - how about you Chris Shiherlis - you seem to have plenty of gob - but have you got plenty of answers ?

The self-styled BeesKnees pops up after a period of absence to tell of a star about to shine. Anyone know any stars?

6cer, if theses guys are as smart as you suggest, to get oil out without anyone spotting it, why have they not applied for zero rated Pioneer tax exemption?

I would say that its most probable that Guarantee are taking oil from the assets - it would certainly explain the tax bill and the delay we've all been experiencing. Someone explain to me how else they are facing such a huge tax bill - you only get a tax bill if you have been generating sales and profit. Does anyone think that its a result of selling burgers and Coca Cola ?

I seem to remember that there was a lot of secrecy surrounding the Guarantee Petroleum court case a while ago and no details emerged except ownership issues. I would say that its extremely likely that Sirius is/has been screwed by Guarantee and is/was a cuckoo in the nest.

@6cer - barring a stitch up, what other ways could they rack up a huge bill that don't mean oil/gas sales?

Crude oil swaps. Several indigenous Companies working alongside NNPC to trade crude for imported refined products. Highly lucrative, esp with a Govt subsidy thrown in + opps to inflate the figures. No surprise that Sirius wishes to consolidate its arrangement with Taglient, buy up the remaining 50% to re-enter the midstream part of O&G.

Guarantee Petroleum have been extracting oil for a considerable length of time hence the large tax bill - what else could it be ?

Seemingly no problem whatsoever in instantly raising £0.5m to pay MPR for a field licence extension.

Sirius still doesn't even officially recognise the appointment of Lyon, one of the top O&G business dealers in the world.
