01/9/2016 07:54 | “Simon has 29 years experience working in oil and gas finance, having had nine years international experience with the Royal Dutch Shell group of companies in London, Netherlands and Nigeria followed by a successful career as an equity analyst at UBS, Dresdner Kleinwort, Ambrian Partners, MF Global and N+1 Singer. He joins the Company after two challenging years at Afren plc, where he was Global Head of Investor Relations. Simon is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy, holds a BSc Econ (HONS) in Economics from the University of Wales and a postgraduate certificate in Oil and Gas Financial Management from the University of North Texas. Simon was ranked number one by Thomson Extel for his coverage of European Gas while at UBS.” Is it just me, or does anyone else find it strange, that a company secretary with such a wealth of experience, some two months after the Final Results were published, is now struggling to organise an AGM date because of ‘logisticsR | 1alfi

31/8/2016 19:55 | Who is of sufficient power in Nigeria to ensure that Sirius is beneficiary to the pipeline of assets .who is of sufficient power to ensure the dpr and federal government put up with those laughable funding rns,s and who is of sufficient power to influence the powers that be on the LSE. | bronislav

31/8/2016 18:28 | On what basis is the 400k in place. If share based then cannot be executed without agm. | 1alfi
31/8/2016 18:03 | Sherl0ck. Not only has Sirius kept important partnerships with the likes of Owena, BTG, Schlumb, Havoc, it has retained its UK listing. Annual renewal does not come cheap. Afaia, a Readmission Doc from NewCo would cost £400k. Curiously that is exactly the amount the Co. refers to in the AR, which it expected to raise by end of July. I suspect they had no problem getting key insiders to promise subscribing, that the £400k is now in place. Listing is an obv req if the rto route is being followed. | dr rosso
31/8/2016 17:57 | CTAG is backed by the Corvus crew. Check the multiple fundraisings over the last 12 months, for no obv purpose it seems other than to let certain ppl in at 2p, then 5p, before the product hits the US market. On CTAG spike might those cronies be tempted to switch a bundle over to Sirius for bigger % gain? | dr rosso
31/8/2016 17:36 | Christmas come and gone, same with Boxing Day... Surely we're close to news and it is Thursday tomorrow, which seems to be Sirius's favourite day for news. I see CTAG has got their attention at Corvus today, let someone else have a go now..... | keysersosse
31/8/2016 17:31 | Unusual 3 x 1m late pm. The match to last week's 3m trade? | dr rosso
31/8/2016 17:16 | Indigenous Cos like Owena, GP, OilWorld have neither the financial clout nor the technical expertise to get things done. Sirius acts as their partner. A UK listed Co. is far more attractive for funders and technicians to work with than some relatively untrustworthy and unknown group in a country where corruption is normal business practice. The Co. was brought into O&G play through 2 obscure Nigerian Cos, Taglient and Sirius O&G. Mystery Cos but highly likely to be linked to Ondo State. Sirius has remained as a service provider, the procurer. It is unlikely that they'd have been able to secure the services of Havoc and Schlumberger without anyone knowing the real funding prospects. And one offer is known to be on the table atm. Whist Owena is the official arm of Ondo State, Sirius is the means of getting things done (albeit prep background ops), as well as a means of key investors, aided by Co. silence, accumulating cheapo shares by the ten millions. Everything rests on timing. Clearly this is not about swinging things into production asap, nor is it just about one marginal field. So what's the logistics issue holding things up, which on resolution should take us to EGM/AGM and full revelations. Fwiw, I think we'll see a jv partner introduced so as to bring Ororo 3 gas wells into production, alongside smaller Chevron fields in 95, followed by a complete sell-off or rto. | dr rosso |
