Company needs some quality PR company to promote Tidal , the Scots are very much in favour , but our Party man is not really up to it , he does not understand technology and surrounds himself with lots of yes men, very poor show.

Not a single mention of tidal generation in the latest government "energy policy", which when combined with the fact that Atlantis had to get a loan from Scottish Enterprise to either pay for the work on the two turbines (parts cost and labour?), or the installation cost, or both, doesn't look very promising. Perhaps the fourth turbine return to service is dependent on income from the other three to pay the bills.

Did I read on here that Simec had lent another couple of million to SAE recently, as I thought from the last AR that SAE were expecting Simec to roll over an existing loan, rather than lend new money?

SAE are in the perfect position to take advantage of their technology ,pull in massive funding to really develop tidal so that the UK has another source of energy and it's green !!

The site produced 11124MW in 2020 or 55624 ROCs , should be similar this year if third install goes to plan

North Scotland 26.6p kWh. If they are at 10MW at that price area should be good.2020 - MeyGen project generated revenues of £3.2 million from the sales of power and Renewables Obligations Certificates, SIMEC Atlantis informed.

£2.5m is only going to pay the bills for 6 months or so which is why the move today has not been higher. Uskmouth approval and a Meygen CfD would be the big ticket items that should take the market cap back up to where it was a year ago.

Disappointed with todays price action I must say, seen worse outfits bag (and some) following funding confirmations like today, yet this only moves 20 odd percent.

All that is needed now is for Wales to give planning permission for uskmouth. How long has it been since they first applied?

It's like a weight has been lifted here, just what the doc ordered. This RNS and others before it add up to quite a rosy future for the company.

I've finally averaged down for hopefully the last time @1.998 - the future (now) looks much more positive.
