12/3/2022 08:44 | Lets see what the party man comes up with , please show us some forward thinking for once !!!!! | jotoha2
12/3/2022 07:26 | Ship left Nigg to Meygen site late last night, so hopefully the turbine(s)? are reinstalled over the weekend. | noiseboy
11/3/2022 20:34 | A little bit today for SAE investors. Meanwhile, investors also showed renewed interest in tidal power company SIMEC Atlantis Energy, the company behind the MeyGen free-stream tidal power project. The company's shares climbed by more than a third this week. As investors looked to unearth stocks that might benefit from the UK's attempts to reduce its dependence on Russian energy supplies, there was also some bargain hunting going on among those Russia-focused stocks that got hammered in the backlash to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. | manual dexterity
11/3/2022 15:49 | I hope you have a great weekend. Off now but one thing is for sure. The demand for alternative energy will be unprecedented. Pick out the few shares which does wean off demand. 1.85p no stock. Best of. | manual dexterity
11/3/2022 15:28 | Climate change: EU unveils plan to end reliance on Russian gas By Matt McGrath Environment correspondent Published2 days ago There will be a huge push to alternative energies. Those policies now are looking to be fast tracked. | manual dexterity
11/3/2022 14:59 | Looks like its 100k left at 1.8p now. I think its well worth now researching alternative energies and current energy requirements. | manual dexterity
11/3/2022 11:04 | Agree that a recovery is possible. I currently expect Meygen to win a CFD but the auaction process will probably take another 3 months or so. This should be enough to safe guard the company and give them the means to refinance their short-term debt. Uskmouth approval would be transformative but I still think the odds of this are pretty slim. Re tidal lagoons, SAE do have a barrage project that they started developing a few years ago before the government pulled funding. It is never going to be the cheapest way of generating energy but makes sense if you factor in the value of redundancy, energy security and flood defences. We might see these projects come back on the agenda. There were quite a lot of them coming out of the woodwork around 2017/18. From memory, as well as the high profile one at Swansea, there was a scheme in Liverpool, one from SAE and two from Ecotricity. If you put it all together, we could have several GWs of tidal by 2030 but it will need proper funding support. | clabburn
11/3/2022 10:14 | Chart-wise, if they get the turbines re-installed this week/next week then the gap to 5p should be filled…… | barts
11/3/2022 09:31 | We are in a different reality hence there will be a seismic shift and very quickly. Alternative energies on top of the list. | manual dexterity
11/3/2022 09:14 | Sorry forgot this linkhttps://www.gov. | wheeze
11/3/2022 09:14 | U.K. govt will need to invest a good deal more than 20 million a year. We should be talking billions not millions to ensure energy security and freedom from those pesky Russians literally having us over a barrel | wheeze
11/3/2022 09:12 | Apologies if already postedhttps://www.nw | wheeze
11/3/2022 09:02 | There will be a rush for alternative energies to power the UK. I think also there will be a rush to secure local oil and gas supplies | manual dexterity
10/3/2022 15:58 | Companies moving into this area. UK has very little time to wean off gas from Russia. One thing for sure is that there will be fast track to alternative energies. | manual dexterity
10/3/2022 13:45 | TIDAL ENERGY SCHEME SURGES AHEAD 10 Mar 2022 Wales Business Plans for a £590m tidal lagoon in North Wales are forging ahead following two milestone developments. Looks like some schemes are already going ahead. | manual dexterity
10/3/2022 11:53 | If you take wind turbines , the UK is getting the power , but it is the Norwegians and Siemens of Germany who are getting the real money by being the suppliers of the equipment , the same with EDF at Hinkley point . Boris needs to ensure our technology is used and then we all get the benefit of tidal power. Question is will the party man perform for once . | jotoha2
10/3/2022 11:19 | I'm sure time will tell.....let's just wait for a few more of these wind turbines to blow over (maybe even kill someone) and we will see what the final outcome will be.....tide and time stop for no man!! GLAGH | barts
10/3/2022 11:14 | Is such a project even on the radar for SAE? I always assumed the technology operated in seas only? | bishfund
10/3/2022 11:07 | BARTS - Surrounded by the sea with the opportunity of tidal energy all around him, Boris and Co will opt for wind - they like wind! There will be a small amount of financial help for tidal energy and once against the screamingly obvious will be ignored.Likewise, Wales will ignore the opportunity of Uskmouth.Sorry I can't be more optimistic. | mountain man
10/3/2022 10:54 | I think the way things are going absolute resolution to go to alternative energies. | manual dexterity
10/3/2022 10:45 | Oh No!! Not the wind that can't be guaranteed.....tide and time stop for no man.... | barts
10/3/2022 10:25 | I think the way the market is going decisions will be made quickly. Wind will be pivotal in this market. | manual dexterity
10/3/2022 10:10 | A drop in the ocean robertspc1, Pardon the pun. Need to see the bigger picture | wheeze
10/3/2022 10:07 | Everyone seems to be forgetting the £40m of debt overhanging this company | robertspc1
10/3/2022 09:58 | Severn Barge costs are estimated at several £ billion , SAE value probably £300/ 500 m min. Massive potential to play for here. | jotoha2 |
