I wish SIMEC Atlantis Energy would move away from the Power Station burning stuff and just concentrate on the Maritime.

I mean the engineering services division has so much potential, their knowledge could be used in offshore windfarms not just their tidal turbines.

A massive global market. They should setup some apprenticeship programmes, to build up the skill base and grow.

Companies like this need lots of backing to move them beyond R & D. Come on government, create the next 'Rolls Royce' and stop feeding money into old big industry, think about the future and UK's next multinationals.

At 20p is around £144 million MCAP. Do you think MyGen revenue would justify such a rise on its own ?

CFD process is progressing. We have a month to go while ofgem work through final appeals for projects that didnt qualify and then it will be auction time with results likely to be published in early July. I suspect the recent rise in share price is people placing their bets on a successful outcome. Any positive news on Uskmouth would be an instant game changer but for now its very much all about the Meygen Cfd. A contract win will immediately bring the whole 400MW project back into play and on that basis alone, the share price should move back into the 20p range.

We should then expect another equity raise but unlike the death spiral emergency funding we were facing last winter, this time it will be about accessing capital that will unlock the next stage of the company's development. Not in the bag yet, but a nice moment for those of us who held on during the rough moments and collapsing share price last year.

The wholesale price of power now means that developing tidal is no longer stoping future growth with this technology , SAE are world leaders and the UK will be the winner , come on Party Man get behind this .

The codger

It is crazy, the UK are a maritime nation which at one time put everthing into it's navy and conquered most of the world.

We now have the opportunity to produce endless amounts of cheap energy for our nation and the world, but our government chooses to ignore.

Basically ALL governemts appear to be the same, they love grabbing land and having disputes over land, but when it comes to improving their strategic independence at home and improving their peoples standards of living they would rather turn a blind eye.

Governments ignoring climate change is a real good example. Governments don't care about the people of the planet, but the end game matters for them, who owns what after the global population has been reduced by 75% because of the destruction which is on the horizon matters, stopping that destruction does not.

Thanks for message, I'm keeping well, hope you are as well.

Just wish I had money to invest. This company would be at the top of my list.

Have about £100 (don't laugh)in KOD maybe if that does a 10x I can move across into here before the share price really shifts.

Anyway, wishing you all the best in your investments.

Tidal power has an amazing future, but it needs support from governments to get production scaled up.

If the UK government put it's effort and money (take it from the oil/gas profits) into tidal rather than oil and gas, we could lead the world on tidal power generation and replace UK based oil/gas industry with tidal turbine farms. Many of the skills are transferable.

Transition from hydrocarbons needs to start now.
