Orbital Marine Power would also meet the grade.

Someone on Twitter did the analysis, I think he concluded there is only SAE that meets the criteria.

SAE must be on for a sizeable slice of the recently announced UK government's £20 million a year ring-fenced budget for tidal stream technology, available for 15 years under the Contracts for Difference (CfD) scheme, which could be awarded as early as April 2022.

That's the catalyst we needed. Sit back and relax all the way to 30p and beyond now.

The story is unfolding....

Good news. £3M in the bank and allows them to fully focus on tidal energy and sustainable power generation.

Im not at all worried about dilution. The company remains in a precarious position and will need to regulalry raise fresh capital for a good while yet. The hope is that the next big raise will come with a share price at 20p+ and a Cfd contract in the bag but we will first need to see how they manage to deal with the looming debt interest payments. The Cfd process starts on Monday and an RNS to coincide may provide a bit more momentum. I am very curious to see what their approach will be: whether they will enter the full 80MW or go smaller, how many turbines will be from Nova etc. Its unlikely we will see any positive news out of Wales so it remains a case of carefully negotiating the winter, trying to keep the positive sentiment about tidal going with the big transformation coming in the spring. Im hoping for progress in France next year as well if we make it that far.

I've had to put him on filter too. Usually I find these nutters entertaining, but this one is so thick it's unreal.

A tiny bit yes, no biggy. Momentum is upwards now with tidal energy becoming a key part of the governments plans.

Lovely. A nice slow 12 month drift up to 30p will do nicely.
