I see this got finance from New Technology Capital LLC a few years ago - anyone know who they are of which company backs them? I assume the financing was negative for SAE?

Oh yes is that so , check how much support has gone into the Nuclear industry in the last 70 years , my research says over £200 Billion , and still growing !

If the "technology" was any good then it wouldn't need "support"!

Labour did have a plan to support this technology , but have ditched those ideas , and the SNP are in a bigger mess , maybe the Chinese will step in with their cash , usual performance from the present GOV all talk and no action.

Looking at the modest trades recently then there is clearly little appetite to see this rise , options have been issued so lots of incentive to get things done here.Have they the skills to perform ?

The complete lack of news on Meygen expansion is a big concern here. No one has any idea whether it is financially or operationally deliverable. Certainly no one putting any value on it

Heh heh, no arguments with the historic chart, JakNife. What interests me is what the next couple of years will show. Care to plot the chart extending that line ?

"lol JakNife, long time no see. How's your short doing ?"

Here's a chart. What do you think the answer is?

Fwatson,

"What is this trading update news? I can’t read it…."

See:

Hands up who think that the board will:

A. Put these funds carefully aside so that they can repay the bonds on the due date?

B. Award themselves grotesquely inflated salaries and bonuses .... because they can?

Value of this company will be determined by the market, not on this board.

The cash will primarily go to debenture repayments as per the December restructuring. Uskmouth is probably worth 40m having seen the details re the Quinbrook lease etc. Meygen value is a few million in current form. Last debt number was 40m or so. Everyone just pulling numbers out of the air.

Even a conservative estimate values Uskmouth site for development at least £120 M , next big news should be Maygen , lovely.

I'll explain. £5m cash in the bank. RNS today cements the opportunity.

I've taken a substantial position this morning.

Decent RNS illustrating the potential value at Uskmouth. But everyone seems to forget the debt here which is a major drag on the shares. Meygen still remains a big unknown as despite the CFDs no one has a clue whether the project is viable and will get funded.

There's a few bags in this . £5m mkt cap and £5m cash just tipped into their bank account. Wow. Market has this price all wrong
