I think that was Rothschild....

Buffet said “to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.”

Shares are so easily manipulated especially on AIM - silly valuations with potentially very valuable IP hitting the buffers simply because we are in a bear market. As Warren Buffet says...Buy when there's blood on the streets

Agree not a lot of stock available- they are probably trying to flush out weak holders

I checked online earlier.

If it's so bad, so desperate then why is there only 150k available to buy at 1.12p,
should be at least 500k given the drop.

This is being manipulated to bits probably because I hold it, happening in all my stocks

Don't think it's 'people' selling - these are bots driving the price down is my guess

Everyone has moved on it seems. Needs a fresh catalyst which I guess will be more clarity over next stages of Meygen.

In the most recent International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) World Survey, the Nexia International network has risen one place since last year to become the 8th largest global accounting network, as measured by fee income. In 2022, Nexia's total fee income was USD2. 8bn across the network.https://www.nexiasingapore.com

While Simec struggles with a fifty million debt, despite their patented technology, I read this in the news...htTps://www.theguardian.com/business/2024/jan/24/questions-22bn-uk-billpayer-cash-wood-burning-electricity-firms-biomass-subsidy?CMP=Share_iOSApp_OtherWe are truly lead by donkeys!

Back down toward previous lows. They really need to give investors a clearer picture of the way forward from here.

When I say Meygen is a mystery, I mean how the next phases are to be financed for example. Lumin Capital were appointed as financial advisers in Nov 22. Since then zip. Also the consortium referred to in Sep regarding turbine sounds a bit vague

Depends on whether peeps are patient Debt I would say has been eased over the next 3 years by which is all goes to plan BESS projects become live and MeyGen will be profitable

I wouldn't say MeyGen is a mystery- perhaps the wrong term. Phase 1 is operational, Phase 2 and 3 have Contracts for Difference awarded.https://saerenewables.com/tidal-stream/meygen/And in relation to BESS SAE has developed and recently sold its first BESS project to Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, this 230MW project is currently under construction.3 further projects are in development with an aggregate capacity of 719MW and grid connection dates starting in 2026.Depends

Impossible to define a sensible price target while there is so much uncertainty here. BESS projects clearly moving along but slowly. Meygen remains a mystery and the debt situation is unclear. Hopefully now management have more time to communicate properly with shareholders

What's everyone opinions on price targets assuming everything goes to plan for simec? I like the business plan and see tidal as quite an important part of our energy network, these calm winter days are a sure sign of that. Just thought I'd get a convo started.
