28/7/2022 07:21 | The Welsh govt was clearly shortsighted in not allowing the Uksmouth project to go ahead. | wheeze
25/7/2022 14:15 | Hi Clabburn, Are you certain that the third turbine has been connected to the on shore grid? SAE announced the second connection with a fanfare, I may have missed this latest announcement. | noplaceforoldmen
22/7/2022 12:47 | Hi Clabburn, is there a reason why SAE wouldn't submit the next phase into CFD round 5? Is there costs up front? | bishfund
22/7/2022 11:10 | The Uskmouth battery is now the key event to track for SAE. It looks like the planning application should be submitted in the autumn. That could bump the share price but I don't expect anything major to change things now until they get planning approval or the first milestone payment from Quinbrook. I have been reading up on them and it does look like SAE have a top infrastructure partner in place for this. The only other potential positive event I can see in the short term is if SAE confirm they will submit the next phase of Meygen into Cfd round 5. Timing for that is still unknown but government are working to make the auctions annual which should in theory mean the application process will open in the next 6 months or so. | clabburn
15/7/2022 09:55 | Putin is weaponising oil and gas by driving prices up. Meanwhile the clowns in charge at U.K. plc, throw a tiny morsel at tidal energy, hoping for wondrous things to happen. Wake up politicians and smell the coffee. If you don't invest massively in renewable energy right now, we will be forever enslaved to high fossil fuel prices. The time to have invested for a decade ago, but you lot were too bloomin dense to realise it. Rant over. | wheeze
14/7/2022 11:52 | David Gruen Blimey, you must be in a WORLD of pain with your investment here. Does the impending insolvency not bother you? | truant2tb1

12/7/2022 05:46 | They are in the tidal turbine business not Wind turbines! | noiseboy
11/7/2022 20:11 | hmm. why does this actually exist??? not posting here again. looks like desperate attempt to cover and they love it they look back and not forward, they don't ask why is Gov supporting them on the largest wind farm out project in the world and why the company has already installed turbines ....what is in it for the company/ nothing according some here - duh not posting here anymore - had info to share - but they can find them selves now. | invester2010
11/7/2022 19:35 | I just love reading what mug punters write about utter garbage like SAE, anyone with a brain could read their annual report and see theyre running on fumes. So kind of you all to spike this so I could short - the real question is do I add ?! | truant2tb1
11/7/2022 18:51 | was 3.75 back in April? why.... but has more now than back then.... HOD 8p some time last year had issue, but looks like they have their stakes on now. with a lot of gov support and nods - energy crises. | invester2010
11/7/2022 18:15 | What about other projects? speak in line with Mkt cap - which is tiny tin way was it 8p last year and now all the goods coming through - the money stuff - they have already installed turbine successfully - Did Scottish gove, provide then with £2.5M in May ...what was that for? - you have take all new facts into account here now. - glta, if short long - short more if you think it will go down or buy more if you think it will go - hate to break it you if short, based on this years news, longs are leading tad and in full control - so make the mistake of filling their boots - closed strong and more buying than selling - think profit takers seem to be out since Thursday, many shorts will cover 3+ for the longs here INHO | invester2010
11/7/2022 11:06 | Surely they have to prepare a business plan showing a good return, then convince banks or other sources of funding, then close the funding deal, which then gives them the cash to start building the turbines etc, while surviving in an almost bankrupt state at the moment. That is not an easy set of tasks, after which presumably, the government money starts to flow when the project is up and running, and iirc, on the original Meygen the deal with HMG starts when the whole phase is complete. | muckshifter
11/7/2022 10:59 | In case you can't figure it out, I was being sarcastic to Jak who was the one calling Simec a fraud... sheesh | nowenterprise
11/7/2022 10:58 | I've reported the scumbag. | david gruen
11/7/2022 10:32 | Long live SIMEC … you guys need to chill in the comments. Go enjoy the sun and stop looking for arguments. They’ve signed a 30 year 40 mil contract and got funding to go ahead with meygen phase 2. Hardly a scam hahaha. Thanks for the laugh mate | ne1sinvestor
11/7/2022 08:20 | "nowenterprise9 Jul '22 - 14:10 - 2554 of 2555 Presumably the govenment did zero due diligence or research in awarding the cfd to Simec, because if they had they would notice that Simec is a fraud. Oh wait..." Screenshot this guys. | david gruen |
