Crankyman Not seen the Edison report and don’t wish too but if they are genuinely factoring in £15 million upfront when they got £11million off Nordgine at the time when they had a much inferior label no head to head study results then they are more clueless than I thought.
I will be amazed if they don’t achieve £25 million up front and royalties will be higher than 20% unless they go for a Front loaded deal which could be possible as they do like to comment on the partner having Skin in the game as they put and if that were the case would see upfront easily north of $50 million imo.

Heading forward towards 235p by year end, could go much higher on US licensing partner deal due then.

Ultimately I am looking to sell 400/450p area a few years down the line, so continue to add on weakness, only slight disappointment would be if they get an early bid approach in 300p’s

Stay patient, mostly derisked now.

Read Edison were factoring in £15 million upfront and 20% royalty for the US commercial deal. Are these guys trying to justify their valuation in reverse or is this report wrong?

Buyers back, most are just tucking away for US commercialisation, onwards & upwards

I wouldn’t worry about it Nobby, I get the same from time to time, I just ignore it, at the end of the day, everyone is here to make some money, where possible, sometimes a lot, sometimes a little, sometimes SFA, occasionally a few dog shares, I have cut a few out over the years.

So far this one is playing out very well and could grow into a biggie but I suspect before it reaches full potential, they will receive a tempting offer in the 300p’s, if that happens,I won’t be bitter I will just move on, knowing I have done very well and there are always other opportunities, I will be looking carefully for the next big relevant company.

This BB is indeed a curious place. I paste below a post from another thread this morning about me.

'Nobbygnome imo, is an obnoxious and arrogant poster, i have seen him on various BB's and his primary job it seems is to perform character assassinations on fellow posters who have a different view on a share to his.'

I presume your view is slightly different. It seems I am like marmite; you either love me or hate me!

Anyway thanks for the thanks!

But true. I’m here for the long game

Peachier 74 Try not to get to concerned with short term volatility if you understand and believe in the potential and are not invested for short term gains and are investing with real cash just hold tight .
I have no doubt this will either make a very significant gain quickly by a takeout or many years of long term income and substantial appreciation in the share price

Strong day in view of the fact there seems to be a few big sells

Can you give a brief overview mate for those of us who aren’t subscribers.
Some people got burnt today who panic sold over last few days.

There is no need to raise money anymore because they are partnering out. They are likely to have enough to fund the pipeline and more besides. It seems unlikely just to boost the share price.

Added a few more on the dip. Also adding STAF prior to a potential bid.

Nice steady round of buys today, a 5k block buyer too.

Not sure what the average vol is but 200K already today seems quite healthy on no news...

Well biotech companies always get a higher valuation in the US! However, there are higher costs associated with the listing so its swings and roundabouts.

No idea myself.

Reckon should break to fresh highs in early/mid Sept onwards, holiday time until then, low vols at present.

Safe haven status to park cash, low £ lots of reason for investors to be interested here

Does anyone know if a US listing would change this situation? Either dual or moving the company there

My strategy and continues to be
1. Retain core holding for the long term or until a takeover comes through
2. Add on decent dips to the core holding
3. Buy one holding to trade over short/medium term

I don't disagree with your figures. However, the point is that the share price is at 160 odd despite all this value of the drug. That is the fundamental problem with Aim where there are so many undervalued companies. That means there is a possibility that there could be a take out at a price which is too low. Yes the VC may reduce that risk but everyone has a price and it is difficult to predict what they will do.
