You have got it montyhedge. The MM tactics seem odd when the sellers seem thin on the ground but squeezing the toothpaste tube might get the ten bob millionaires to panic sell.

Something strange going on here this morning. The MMs have dropped the price....yet there is nothing on offer on the RSP! Curious.....

A couple of things that I think the VC sees that the market does not see.
Not much mention of China. China approves medicines very quickly these days. Approval could literally double global sales in 2021. I don't think this is priced in.
Positioning as second line to oral and taking a share of oral failure rather than a share of IV hugely increases potential. Not many patients get IV. IV works for some patients - like CKD patients that have to go regularly to hospital anyway and can fit in a quick infusion. At the same time women with menorrhagia are not going to have IV. With sufficient resource invested, Feraccru can own a market 10-20 times bigger. I think the clinical trial strategy for a head to head vs IV was fine. It worked out in the end (even if it was numerically 9% less). I don't think targeting IV patients make any sense once big partners are signed up. It would be good to see upside price projections based on these two outcomes that could better inform the price target.

Does £2.50 sound right if approved on the 27th of july

Typical VC managers are looking for a 10 times return. I actually don’t know what the VC came in at. If it was £1.25, I assume they would be looking at £10 plus before agreeing a sale

I presume so. They would decide if it goes through. They aren’t going to settle for £2.50.

If Inventages has provided most of the VC crankyman would it give some protection to a takeover attempt?

STX is almost 50% owned by a VC firm that are backed by Nestle. I'd be looking in that direction.hxxp://www.inventages.com

There are a lot of rumours about some of the big boys waiting in the wings and ready to press the button on a takeover after July 27 but no evidence. Has anyone any real facts? The volume of trades today must be a world record low. Something is going on behind the scenes. But what?

Interesting reading on Cost vs. IV and scale of usage. Not sure if this has already been shared.

Likewise I took advantage of the MM inspired plunge to pick up 2000 via spreadbet.

Well done, I don’t really need anymore but was tempted with this mornings drop but probably got a bit greedy! I guess the games will go on a few more mugging ahead of 27 July. Onwards & upwards

Those 2 x 2,300 buys were mine. As you say, impossible to buy in quantity. Strange drop over the last few days. A little profit taking, or just a shake?

Tried to buy a chunk @ 108p not easy to buy quantities on the pull back. Will try and add more in smaller quantities
