Very true. A lot of false dawns here, but hints that things could be on the turn. Plus TU due soon.

Looks like snakes and ladders today - 3 small steps up, 1 big slide down :-)

A reassuring half year trading update would be welcome to say we're on track.

1 year low 157.5 September 2019, 3 year low 137.5 March 2019. Wonder where we are heading? Share price never dropped below £2 between October 2016 and March 2019 - effectively 4 years of declining shareholder value.

On the subject of an update - have they got anything to say? - if it's a material contract or an acquisition it would have to be announced straightaway.

We had a half year trading update on 24 October last year - similar timings this month ?

Reading in the Sunday newspaper, then they are saying Cyber Security is the growth sector to be invested in, but unfortunately it has not yet been translated into any good financial returns area.

How Very True for Shearwater !!

Wonder how all the investors that were invited to participate in the last Placing at 240p are now feeling. For once, then I am pleased us small pi's were not on the invitation list. Not only that, but I have a "gut feeling", with Shearwater anyway, that we may get the opportunity to buy a little cheaper than we are currently at.

Yep we certainly need some news. What's happening on the acquisitions front for starters?

Getting close to a 12 month low now. As with many of these AIM minnows lack of news flow = drift downwards even if only a few thousand shares are trading.

They have already stated :

Only the formal business of the resolutions will be carried out at the 2020 AGM and no business update will be provided. The directors consider it important to continue their open dialogue with Shareholders and, accordingly, should a Shareholder have a question that they would have raised at the AGM had it been possible for them to attend in person, the Company asks that it be sent to shearwater@almapr.co.uk , and a response will be provided in due course.

With the AGM tomorrow, this morning's price movement suggests either no update or a non-event update. Volumes remain small, but there is little or no interest in SWG at present and there appears to be nothing of significance happening in the business that would support positive news flow. £1.70-1.75 should be a potential buy level but with the threat of dilution from any acquisition deal at this low share price level, then it's probably 'avoid'

Quite possible explanation Northwards. Seems a slight move in that direction too. Otherwise this would have dropped another considerable amount. Has been distinct lack of news and what there has been is vague. I suppose we will get an update in due course but not from their next meeting apparently. I think the frustration is knowing the businesses show a lot of promise and I totally see the logic of building a network of small companies that can cross sell. The revenue increase and narrowed losses are all good signs. So long as it continues

Apparently the trade yesterday was a sell of 150k that had a matched buyer. Strongly suggests the seller is done.

seller done? Just one more dump and another and another...and no rns ever, unless its something to do with hold back shares for geolangytwangy. That was only 129,000 and the sells are 2x150000.

The 41% increase reflects a full year of Brookcourt in 2019/20 - this note was in the FY results

On an underlying like-for-like basis which reflects a full year of Brookcourt's prior year performance into 2018/19, revenue is 16% behind prior year, which is partially due to a change in revenue mix within Brookcourt whereby we have witnessed a move from high revenue, low margin hardware sales to low revenue, higher margin software sales. In addition, Xcina Consulting has experienced reductions in revenues of £2.1m following the strong performance in the prior year off the back of the introduction of GDPR.

Feeble growth - when revenue increased 41% ?

Plus the marketplace they operate in is predicted to grow from $112 billion to $282 billion by 2027.

Frustrating period this - AIM shares are always volatile and risky but the whole point of the market is to unearth some gems that start as tiddlers but through a combination of right sector, good management and good growth gain momentum, attract new shareholders and multiply in size. I had SWG down as a potential one of these but given the dearth of news, feeble growth and lack of investor interest I think this is now one to avoid.

No stock around to buy at this level. I'm pretty confident, once the seller is done (it's possible they may already be), the share price will recover strongly.

Still probably a few sellers around but with small volumes giving a disproportionate drop in the share price lack of buyers seems to be the bigger problem
