Fardel

You have done nothing but take the pee for quite some time and i have warned you that the share price had topped and that it was heading into the 60s well if the trend line gets broken it will head there, and with the revenue way down compared to last yr as gas price is now below 35p and if 30p breaks its heading into the very low 20s

That doesn't make any sense at all.

Common sense?

I can annualise whatever spot price I like. It doesnt mean that will be the actual revenue or profit.

But if it was 34p for the whole year, it would be.

Thats the point of annualising something. This the spot price is this, the rev/profit would be that......

The point is that the spot price in the winter is likely to be higher than it is today entering summer so you you can't based annualised revenue on today's spot price, try using some common sense.

In view of SQZ's exploration portfolio, you may care to express an opinion on this and vote accordingly:

Of course it is. They know it is too. They are just playing with those who don't. They do it every time the price drops a bit and we all know why.

It's not 35p for gas for the whole year as winter prices are higher so annualised profits are going to be higher. Even with today's spot price at 35p next winter's forward price is still above 50p.

It's just not bouncing.

60% BKR production hedged at 35p.
Did anyone find out if Erskine is hedged?

I cant find info so assume it isnt.

The annualised profit at these levels is still $50m - still gd.

Another plus is any decomissioning costs are capped at sqz cashflows from BKR. (Obv. A future consideration).

Next update is key.

Winter 2019 gas price still above 50p.
Results and Rowallan newsflow soon and just maybe another aquisition if we are lucky as Dh speculated.

Gas price back down at 34p - clear that we won't make much forward progress share price wise until we get news.

Interesting theory (l all ways like a good one) and that sort of thing does happen.

Perhaps the share price is just hovering and consolidating at this waiting on news to break one way or the other. Also end of tax year so expect some bed and ISAering etc...

Tick Tock

You know something - I don't normally partake in theories of price "control" but there does seem to be some form of attempt to "keep" price around the 120p mark?

Maybe just maybe, they are holding back the "results" news for a deal to be announced concurrently?
The thought only occurred to me today because I, for my sins, hold EOG and I have a 'feeling' they may be holding back "results" news in the hope of landing either Morocco (lol), workover results (half lol) and the now legendary and much talked of, "fabled" Irish farm outs?!

not if they are sheltered by the house and covered by dustbin bags :)
37 is a lot and may increase the COS of one survivor as with the 2 Rowallan prospects

Mine got knocked out last winter but survived the previous and the new generation have survived this winter, hence 66% CoS for them, better than for Rowallan.
Sorry.
