18/2/2019 09:38 | Brent doing well, which is a positive for SQZ condendate. Gas seems to be carving out a bottom, also positive imho. I havent bought back in as of yet. But very much on the watchlist | general george
16/2/2019 16:57 | North Sea Not Dead Yet: Tbh I had never heard of Decipher but it shows that others still see potential in UK NS assets.... | d220
16/2/2019 16:28 | I don't do Twitter. There was not much comment on advfn until the price was about 2.8p so if it was a ramp it must have been done by telepathy. | fardels bear
16/2/2019 15:56 | FB could conceivably just be the twitter pump up Friday afternoon or the twitter pump up was following the volumes? | dunderheed
16/2/2019 15:08 | ...for EOG lol, farmout Monday? | bountyhunter
15/2/2019 16:12 | EOG gone crazy... | fardels bear
15/2/2019 16:10 | Brent price has been moving up strongly the last few days 8-) | captainfatcat
15/2/2019 13:55 | Gas prices have resumed their usual ranges for this time of year. The prices earlier in the winter were exceptional. Nobody was forecasting that level of pricing to continue. No serious SQZ investor was expecting gas prices to remain at that peak. As I keep saying - this is NOT and never has been a get rich quick play on bullish gas market. We are all far too sensible for that. | fardels bear
15/2/2019 13:10 | I was replying to Danny Baker. Disagree with looking at US IRAN being what is weighing on the share price | general george
15/2/2019 12:56 | I thought you weren't going to go on about gas prices any more but clearly that was fake news. Gas prices are the same as this time last year, they move seasonally, and we have hedges, all this we have discussed endlessly already. Not to mention SQZ's increasing share of production year on year and the freely carried Rowallan drill in progress and Columbus coming up. I have personally sold out here twice before but not then posted endless repetitive deramps before buying back in. | bountyhunter
15/2/2019 12:54 | Gas prices have nearly halved, costs are fixed. It's not rocket science. | general george
15/2/2019 12:54 | Yes as we have the waiver, are not importing from Iran and in any case all IOC monies are held in Escrow until US sanctions are lifted whenever that may be. | bountyhunter
15/2/2019 12:45 | I think you are overblowing it. | fardels bear
15/2/2019 12:43 | FB, I am a firm believer in Serica and have done very well out of it. However there remains a link to Iran and the press over the last 24 hours has been reporting Mike Pence's comments which are enough to at least take note. I held my nerve last year throughout the Iran political wobbles and I'm not fazed by the latest US attempt to bring Iran back into the headlines. But at the same time if the SQZ share price has an attack of the jitters I can understand the possible reason why. | danny baker
15/2/2019 12:25 | I just hope this doesn't go the same way as Faroe. Be a shame if it doesn't realise its full potential before a takeover occurs | upomega
15/2/2019 12:07 | Pretty soon though we won't be in the EU, if you believe a politician, ever. I don't believe we have a stance toward Iran that affects SQZ in any way. If we did it would have been mentioned by now, wouldn't you think? Or are you looking to buy more? | fardels bear
15/2/2019 12:03 | I stopped my drip selling at 141.5p as SQZ looked poised for a leg up towards the mid 140's. The recent pull-back has caught me out but one reason could be the increased US annoyance at the EU stance towards Iran. Mike Pence has been very vocal at the Warsaw summit in criticising the EU's dealings with Iran in contrast to the US sanctions. The SQZ price suffered badly last time before it eventually got approval for the BKR deal to proceed. I think Iran worries, even if completely unjustified can do more short-term damage to the share price than GG's concerns over gas prices despite the mild winter we seem to be having now. | danny baker

15/2/2019 11:03 | "Sooner we get these shares out of the hands of pi's the better." Then it needs to hit 150 - that is what mine will go for. | joestalin
15/2/2019 09:56 | Well am at that stage in life when a small divi say 5p per share would be welcome but can understand both sides of the argument. | captainfatcat
15/2/2019 08:50 | John Rosier and a few others on Twitter attended last night's Shares Mag presentation by Serica. From this morning's reports and tweets it sounds as though Mitch Flegg managed to impress the audience. Very positive feedback. Still lots to go for here, (even if I have sold a few). | lord gnome
14/2/2019 22:52 | Yes shhh while we await that massive farmout rubber stamping to come through there so no more telling people about that one! ;-) I've got my coat on already and am now leaving! | bountyhunter |
