01/2/2008 14:49 | I wonder how minerman the matador knows I have given Mickey Take a roasting when he has me filtered. lol. Enough said. Seftoners pretend to apply the filter, but the gondola seminars are something they feel are a compelling read. Who can blame them. | yas0
01/2/2008 14:47 | Dear New Readers, I note that the markets have had a rather good morning. Now let me see how Sefton have reacted...ummm....oh dear. Not much of an impact. The fact is, as I oft report, there is a lck of willing buyers. It seems that a highly risky oil tiddler, with a record of having failed to generate a full year profit and now having taken on debt is not top of the priority list for buyers. Who can blame them. | yas0
01/2/2008 14:46 | Too true Mickey, I see he has been giving you a roasting lately! Perhaps you should bake off a bit and allow him to simmer down! | the matador
01/2/2008 14:41 | Don't mention Yas0 or you could be subject to his broth! | mickey take

01/2/2008 08:57 | Ah, I see numpties are referring to that spreadsheet again! Blah, blah, blah bobby2 blah blah blah mine man blah blah blah relsiihisinhg blah blah blah................ | the matador
01/2/2008 08:31 | yes, the discount to WTI, I agree. I was talking about the discount for lifting costs etc. I don't bother talking about the WTI price, it just adds confusion. | tim00
01/2/2008 08:27 | No, the discount to WTI is in the oil price received at the pump due to it being 18 degrees API. It's not taken off later. | relishing
01/2/2008 08:26 | In terms of the accounts, the discount is not applied to revenues/oil prices, but added to expenditure as a "cost of goods sold". I follow that convention. | tim00
01/2/2008 08:23 | fleas, But if you look at my spreadsheet in the header and at the figures I calculated for H1 using a $10 discount to WTI, the figures came out very close to the published figure. The real discount is slightly less than $10. | relishing |
