01/2/2008 08:21 | I agree about royalties, where I don't have enough information to assess Sefton's liabilities. However, I base my estimates of current obtained oil prices on what Sefton has actually obtained for its oil in its published results in 2007 H1: these can be inferred from the revenue and production figures. They then can be compared with actual prices for heavy oil. So based on past relationships, Sefton should be getting $80 currently. But of course we'll have more certainty when we get the 2007 results. | tim00
01/2/2008 08:14 | Tim, Sefton won't get the full %80 for their oil. There's a DOGGR charge of about $0.14per barrel, then there's royalties etc. As with most things you should ire on the side of caution. I use a figure of about $70 for my calcs. Flea. | fleascool
01/2/2008 07:59 | Sooner or later the market will wake up to these facts and i want to be holding when it does. | redhill
01/2/2008 07:12 | Average monthly prices for Sefton's oil roughly $80 in both December and January. Monthly income currently about $500,000, spending of $200,000, cash flow of $300,000. For a full year, that of course translates to nearly £2 mn surplus cash flow, even before the results of further drilling. Company valued at £5 mn, forward profits of £2 mn plus. Go figure! | tim00
31/1/2008 16:43 | Here's hoping...... | markinthepark
31/1/2008 16:41 | Just booked the day off work tomorrow on anticipation of a fat juicy 1st February RNS mark. (Got a delivery coming actually which is the real reason, but you never know) | relishing
31/1/2008 15:14 | LOL! Did you mean Hyped or Typed bear report....both work | markinthepark
31/1/2008 15:10 | mitp, spot on! I have him filtered because I just can't take any more of the endless repetitive and boring twaddle he keeps posting. Bobby this and Mine man that, thank the lord he never published his imaginary 19 page, closely typed, extremely hyped bear report. It could have well bored ADVFN into a melt down! | the matador
31/1/2008 15:07 | and of course SER is still BLUE today....2 days of BLUE here, makes a nice change | markinthepark
31/1/2008 15:05 | Thanks flea Cant wait - I'm of the opinion that along with news on new wells (and poss steaming) this set of results will be the making of SER in terms of a more stable and sensible share price (ie not 4.87p) | bobbyg2
31/1/2008 15:01 | Yas0 You post every day and your never right! That must make you an even bigger fool! | redhill
31/1/2008 14:59 | Bobby, there was no specific date or timeframe hinted. I would imagine same sort of time as last year. | fleascool
31/1/2008 14:54 | Peteark is right. Minerman the Matador has stated with regularity over the past few years that the share price is set to go up many multiples any day now. But he is mistaken when he states 'Bound to be right one day'. Not quite. He was not right when he kept stating the same with LGB. It went bust. He was not right when he kept stating the same with EVS. It went bust. He was not right when he kept stating the same with AQL. It collapsed. He was not right when he kept stating the same with VOG. It collapsed. I could go on, but readers get the point. Just because a fool posts daily that a stock is set to rise does not mean that it shall do so. In fact, ususally such stocks never do, as the evidence above suggests. | yas0

31/1/2008 14:45 | Bound to be right one day tho! :O) | the matador
31/1/2008 14:39 | I have to agree with Yas, Matador has stated on a daily basis for 2 years the share is about to take off, why should now be any different? The rest of the bullls are less cautious and think the share will rise in time, nothing wrong with that, these are my own feelings. | peteark
31/1/2008 14:31 | And you Peter! Violation after violation! Neither of you will be able to post on the thread for seasoned vegetables! Oh, of course, he can't stop you can he lol! | the matador
31/1/2008 14:24 | yas0 a numpty!!! yes its confirmed yas0 is a numpty. | petermoran
31/1/2008 14:14 | Red, I do believe you may have violated Rule 5 there! | the matador
31/1/2008 13:55 | No there is a steaming pilot being started/about to start soon and this will greatly increase reserves and production if successful. All in all looking forward to 2008 being a record year for production and profits. By the way the Hardman report of summer 2006 has been superceded. You really do need to get up to speed on this company otherwise pi's will think you a numpty! | redhill
31/1/2008 13:26 | More hints and telephone conversations. Meanwhile is there any news of enhanced production from steaming as stated in the Hardman report of summer 2006. Yes 2006 folks. No, thought not. Oh dear. | yas0
31/1/2008 12:59 | Flea did JE give any hint as to when audited financials would be out? I know they were aiming for april. | bobbyg2 |
