29/1/2008 17:50 | All, I see numpties are squabbling between themselves. Minerman the Matador continues to state that this year is the year for Sefton, though he has been stating the same since 2005. However, today he commented on the performance of his predictions since then and wrote ''The following two years realised little, in fact NOTHING of value to investors''.lol. Oh dear. He now admits his claims of the past few years generated no upside for investors, so is there any reason readers should believe him? No, thought not. In fact, long term Sefton bull Mickey Take, today got fed up with his latest claim that 2008 would be the year and mickey responded by stating: ''How many years are we to post on this bb that this year will be their year? I would refer you to there past rns's and on their claims of delivery and milestones. They have failed on every one '' Mickey is right - just how many times will readers have to listen to the banal claims of this is the year. Enough said. Well done morris for telling it as it is. But minerman the matador tried to justify his latest stance by stating ''No, it may not have worked out great for those who have had money tied up for long periods in terms of a rapid return, but it will still, I am sure, be a profitable exit. 2008, LAST YEAR FOR BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT!!!!!'' Yawwwwn. Yes, he has called it wrong year in year out but this time he shall be right. Even hardened numpties would not invest on the basis of such balderdash claims. Even peteark, who concedes to being long, states that he does not expect a return for at least 3 years, and states he thinks it shall be more likely to be five years before he breaks even on his investment. I think he is overly optimisitc, but then he would be, since he is long. But at least Peteark is more realistic than the likes of Matador on the potential of his investment. The critical point that Peterak makes is that if the prospects were so good, why are the buyers not queuing up. Enough said. | ![]() yas0
29/1/2008 16:35 | Your time frame for what is 3-5 yrs peteark? Normal garbage from you I see, although no rabid attacks on Mineman, are you feeling OK? February will see 3 new wells drilled with more planned for the rest of 2008 - it should be a more than profitable year even without steaming so to say that this wont be 'moving' in the next 3 years is twaddle IMHO. | bobbyg2
29/1/2008 15:23 | take a look at MDC there buying back 29 million shares | ![]() broad
29/1/2008 15:10 | I did state a long time ago that imho the only thing that would get this thing moving is producing constant good quality results with a good outlook, that was achieved. So my time frame is 3 to 5 years, of course there will be some spikes on the odd rns and a few drops in the periods of major inactivity, however the spread will never favour the investor. | ![]() peteark

29/1/2008 13:53 | More like the barbers would say any SER shareholders welcome to and have a movie star hair style cut......of course they won't actually do anything of the sort and will probably give you a No1 all over and then says what's your problem if we don't deliver what we promised? You should be used to that by now..... | ![]() markinthepark

29/1/2008 13:45 | Mt have you had a chance to read the loosely typed 120 page report yet? | fernygrade
29/1/2008 13:44 | Red- If that your opinion I wish you luck, I have given myself a timeframe for this share if I make a profit within that time.. fine If not then so be it. It will be interesting going forward to se if he lives up to your expectations | mickey take
29/1/2008 13:44 | The majority of shareholders here seem to be holding at about the 5-7p range, so I guess at 10p, anywhere between a 30-50% trim! | the matador
29/1/2008 13:43 | So does an operations update (the one we got on 14 Jan) count as a trading update like we had here last January? Does that mean the company doesn't need to issue a trading update now? | ![]() markinthepark |
