Yes it does have that feel to it,I feel that there is somrthing in the pipe line.The big boys must have some info of some kind,but what?.

Oppo..............I was thinking about Gyllenhammars disposal in early december. It was a big chunk of stock and required and RNS, but we never saw an RNS from the new holder to declare their stake.

Given the fact the activity today seems more than just a few traders having a flutter, do you think we could see some corporate activity at SCPA?

I'm not normally one for conspiracy theories, but this stock rarely gets this kind of trading activity or this kind of sharp price movement, both of which suggest we have not seen the last of these moves.......any thoughts?

Lovely aint it!! I've held these a while now, and its been a patient holding but I'm in no hurry to suddenly head for the exit now things are beginning to hot up :-))

I recall Cape suddenly took off like this too and didnt stop until it had 2 or 3 bagged......not sure we are up for a repeat performance, but not convinced we are not either!

Comdirect offering 35.45p to sell so movement looks solidly backed.

Yes oppo, its looking very strong today and has now broken out into fresh territory above 34p. Nice tight spread too so any more demand will drive this quickly higher.

Just looked into this one. What puts me off is a pension deficit of £43m at Sep 03 which I calculate gives a tangible assets value of minus £18m !

Yeps Phil also have a good feeling about this,as i have said this
is a good strong company now well geared up for the future of
that i have no doubts.I am also quite happy with my holding in rtd

I have a feeling that like Cape, they will sort out the litigation and the share price will multiply 3 or 4 times its current level. Aint gonna happen this week of course, but a breakout above 34p looks a reasonable target over the coming days ;-))

Looks that way Phil......They have certainly spent some serious cash.
Would you spend so much without knowing something?.
Scapa has been caned way to much and is well under valued at this level,here`s to the future.

6.5m cross trade today oppo, what do you make of it? Looks like Gyllenhammar has found a buyer for his holding judging by the size perhaps?

Scapa have a good solid buisiness and cannot undrestand the down turn in the share price in the past.Once there is an upturn in sales this one will rocket without any shadow of a doubt.I woked for this co for many years and have kept a close eye on them ever since,its a good strong bet in inho.GOOD LUCK.

29/32 now.....lovely!

MM dont seem to have any stock here as the 35k had to pay over the odds and the MM have still held the bid up even after they have flushed out an equal 35k of sells.

Any interest here will chase the price up very sharply IMO!

Yes, I've just had a quick look through the results............lots of wariness by the managment and the terms subdued and difficult seem to be used more than necessary.

The numbers show there are no disaster areas, in fact some areas offer interesting growth. As you say, the cost cutting exercise should also leave the companyleaner and meaner.

Happy to hold as its only trading on around a quarter of its turnover.......far from expensive.

This share will see 50+ before too long as all the cost cutting and consolidation of european buisiness is coming to an end.Scapa is a good long termer. GOOD LUCK.

Interesting trade today..............looks like a buy, taking up the two trades yesterday at .25p cheaper.

It would account for the widening of the spread which happened.
