24/7/2003 19:00 | have to agree, badly worded, the market is also starting to wake up to value stocks, and the discount to nav many offer and some pretty decent yields, technically chart still looks good, not that applicable on small caps i grant you, but it all helps, as usual with recovery plays our patience is what will be rewarded, and there is still plenty of corporate activity down this end | latestarter
24/7/2003 17:35 | The second RNS deals with my concerns latestarter. Trouble is, the damage was done with the first RNS!! Price seems to have recovered as the day has gone on so not quite the PR disaster it might have been. I still think that, like anite and alphameric (which i also hold) now all the bad news is out of the way, the market will begin to look forward and the price will now enjoy a quite healthy rise. 40p within the next 3 or 4 months IMO. 24/7/2003 15:51 | what issues do you mean jitters? the rns does not give much away, were you there? | latestarter

19/7/2003 01:12 | latestarter.....not 100% sure, but i believe hermes were selling down rather than buying. Its one of those multi accounted holdings so difficult to be absolutely positive though. Phil | the jitters
18/7/2003 16:20 | wonder if hermes are involved in those 3 million | latestarter
16/7/2003 15:17 | Bit more activity today and a nice tight spread.......still needs something to spark it off though I think. Phil | the jitters
11/7/2003 16:04 | bit more stake building going on via hermes | latestarter
02/7/2003 12:55 | Jitters Thanks, I do get impatient, but I was more concerned about market in general rather than thought I could do better elsewhere. I was expecting a bid/announcement in late June; agreed it's been pretty rocksteady so far, but how many times have I seen that in the past, with my shares being the last to fall off the cliff? With these small caps, I get over-excited when I've covered spread and costs, so to show a 10% gain in a short time.... On balance, think I'll hold. | original birdman
02/7/2003 12:21 | Jitters Current views on this? I'm up 10% but not sure if I should bank it now or hang on. Was hoping for a bid by now..... | original birdman
02/7/2003 08:10 | get into MDY! Medisys is pleased to announce that the Futura Safety Syringe has successfully passed the final specification tests undertaken by Smiths Group PLC ("Smiths"), | tonyleongson
30/6/2003 14:46 | I have a hunch the big behind the scenes buyer has now finished buying and the stock is free to move up.........we might even get a large trade later today or tomorrow which will look like a sell. (i'd see this as confirmation). Phil | the jitters
30/6/2003 13:40 | Looking better now isnt it ;o) Its taken a bit of patience though. Phil | the jitters
30/6/2003 10:10 | Re-organised and Re-consolidated. Ready for the move upward. Don't be left out. | bobl200
25/6/2003 00:43 | Looks like a failed MM shake out to me. There is still someone accumulating stock in the low 20's hence the lack of upward price movement. Every so often the MM seem to drop the price for no reason to spook out some stock..........looks like they got burned fingers this time ;o))) Phil | the jitters
24/6/2003 16:37 | See, 60k trade took out all the loose stock.........its happening so often now its scary!! Who is buying all this stock??? Once they'e finished loading up, this will fly. Phil | the jitters
24/6/2003 11:42 | Good to see Scapa recovering, a few chunky buys has lifted the price, so is only down 4% now | madigan
24/6/2003 08:20 | what's spooked this -10% then??? | 7h
18/6/2003 11:02 | Hi Phil Yes, still in. I am, perhaps mistakenly, taking some comfort from the fact that the electronic mm's are prepared to pay 24.75p for up to 50k. One of them must still be keen to build up stock. Also having a small nibble at a potentially more risky one in 600 group(SIXH). On a big discount to assets, though part of the assets are a pension prepayment which is probably going to be significantly frittered away given current market malaise...tho' they are still at a significant discount even if you strip this out completely. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone when the co. announces that trading is difficult and times are hard, etc. They also lost their MD after only a few months in the job. Sounds horrible-ut I wonder if that is "in" the price and any small positive might push them back up? Very risky and only a small punt for me but who knows? Oh, and BTW, results are tomorrow :-) | cwa1 |
