Hanover will want to show the shareholders just how much they can improve share holder valueBoth here and at RNO where they also have control.I expect good returns from these as they have done for us in the past. afair rise for the share price is the order of the day for both over the next 10 days.Good luck to all who have faith.

3 weeks to the results today.

I'm intrigued by three director buying 2 months before the results myself. They have posted news regarding the Megolon sale and the positive impact for the company's strength, I think there will be more good news with the results myself.

oops, just seen I posted that 'er she goes' on here - it was meant for the SOLA thread, sorry.

Might have to wait a few days for that 'er she goes' to be affective here - but I'm sure it will do :-)

The mm's paying 1p premium to the bid, just under mid - trying not to let us see there's a buyer?

"16 October 2006

Scapa Group plc

Completion of Disposal

On 31 July 2006 Scapa announced that it had entered into a conditional agreement to sell the business and assets of Megolon to AlphaGary Limited, a subsidiary of Rockwood Holdings Inc, for a total consideration of £16.75 million in cash (before transaction costs and taxation).

In view of the size of the proposed disposal relative to the Group, the sale was conditional upon the approval of shareholders, which was received at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Group held on 23 August 2006. The disposal was also conditional upon receipt of various merger control clearances.

All conditions have now been satisfied and consequently completion of the disposal of Megolon took place on 13 October 2006.

"Commenting on the disposal, Chief Executive Calvin O'Connor said that the sale of the Megolon business substantially improves the financial strength of the Group and represents a major step in the development plan for Scapa."
