SCPA ticking up.

~I wonder how many realise the directors were buying @ 23p recently. A fraction below where we are today.

It looks like Hanover's first tranch was bought on 30th June 2006.... see link below:

Hope this helps,

WINS just turned blue. Could be a sign of a change of trend.

Hi,

Ok, bought in this morning, as I think we could be near the bottom.

Last week, the RSPs online weren't bidding for any more than the NMS (5,000 shares), yet were offering 100,000.

The current situation is 25,000 on the bid and 37,500 on the offer, which looks much more healthy and only Merrill's are on the 25p offer.

Personally, I'm holding for the longer term - hopefully Hanover will work their magic in due course.

Cheers,

Chris

(I see that WINS have just moved up on the bid, so now 3v1).

Still a bit of an overhang here, but have taken a nibble this morning. Another Hanover turnround success? Some good punters in this who think so.

Director buys just below this level adds confidence.

Must say, I'm a little perplexed as to why Hanover/Sherborne haven't increased their stake here as yet. It doesn't quite fit the pattern of their other share purchases. Seems to me that in SPT RNO and CSLT, they took an initial 10% and increased to their favoured 15% over the next three months or so whereas here they purchased 5% in June and now nothing for six months......

Assuming they have similar plans here as at the others, today seems a great price just a couple of pence above director buys in September....I just wish the pattern fitted better!!

Seems there's a dumper in the market who has hit the price. Might be a great time for buyers.

Look, he sold 60K yesterday, £15K worth. His sell wiped £1m of the mkt cap.

SCPA is very illiquid, while there's a seller the price gets hit harder especially if someone is derermined to sell 60K with a gun at his head. The flip side is that when there isn't stock about the mkt cap rises £1m on 60K buys or less too.

Worth buying weakness rather than strength imo.

The trades at 25.74p are actually buys by the way, although they are below the mid price and therefore showing as sells.
