14/8/2018 12:51 | Wigwammer Let's just say that you see the tweet as positive (obviously it gives information that's what Investors want to hear). That's fine. But, if you look a little deeper there's some less positive issues which bear thinking about... Using history, do you recall the Moditope announcement and the fact that the share price flew when it was made. Since then the share price hasn't resumed the upward trajectory on a sustained basis. This share price fall (Plus dilution) has ocurred against evermore positive Scientififc eveidence of extraordinary potential in scancell's Platforms. This has surprised many (not all) but many investors. Some have learnt along the way that maybe a share doesn't follow a straight line graph plot when good or bad news arrives. With this announcement it seems that there's a positive news, but it's still worth looking at the alternate view of what the announcement actually MEANS.... So that we're not surprised if the wider market takes that less positive stance. That was all I was attempting to do.... promote a debate. I've discussed this with you and made my point. You've done the same. We differ in what the announcement might mean. Fair enough... we disagree. Hope thats's not a problem for you, it certainly isn't for me. At least I'm pretty confident that my view will remain on this BB for others to see and consider, as will yours. Now that's what I call a public forum, don't you? AIMO ATB | oldnotwise
14/8/2018 12:34 | The M F F F and certain 'others' seem to be 'delighted' with the latest 'bulletin'. T'would 'appear', *WE ALL* CAN assume = Everything in the garden is Rosey...then SO.... One might ask = WHY is the S P....11.25p ??? Or , as some might observe = STILL, A little FLAT in Landan ??? | the real lozan
14/8/2018 12:21 | ONW - you repeat the error. "I'm not sure there was ever any doubt that Calculus were still happy with SCLP.." There was both doubt and debate. As a result of today's tweet, the doubt should have receded. Regarding your other points - I suspect looking for negatives in the tweet rather than the more obvious positives tells me rather more about your position than about Scancell. Thanks for the shares :) | wigwammer
14/8/2018 11:58 | Wigwammer You're missing the point of this. I said, "I'm not sure there was ever any doubt that Calculus were still happy with SCLP, but some suggested that events could have suggested to the market that that might have been the case. Pure conjecture , but a valid point of view for discussion in the wider forum. As to the Calculus tweet... Wonder why they felt the need? we know Glencross has shown his displeasure with the Commercial side of Scancell in the past (through the SP's record) but there's never (as far as I'm aware) ever been a question about the science. Good to see the info has hit the street, but however you look at it it doesn't say much for Scancell's investor relations if a major shareholder has to put out the info many shareholders had apparently been looking for..." Please don't take a part of a post out of context and attempt to capitalise on it! Read the full post and the comments moved away from the overall tenet and moved deeper inrto specific issues without being dramatic or overly partisan. I hope a reread will help you to understand the concept of "Nuance" ATB | oldnotwise
14/8/2018 11:54 | An interesting point ;- Those out of pocket investors who frequent the LSE BB, have already lost a lot of money by listening to the failure that is Ineptico, yet, they are clearly compounding their losses by a further £20/ month, or £240 / year by feeling the need to protect their " underwater " investment via the premier membership. To take this even further, if certain individuals have been premier members for over 4 years, as im sure many of them have been, then thats another £1'000 loss to add to their already significant financial shortfall. Just a thought. | tosh123
14/8/2018 11:52 | "I'm not sure there was ever any doubt that Calculus were still happy with SCLP.." I think we must be reading different boards, ONW. The doubt should have receded as a consequence of this tweet, and I'm sure those doubters will concede this much in the interests of fair and rational debate ;) | wigwammer
14/8/2018 11:49 | Wigwmmer well done.... A great paste.... So what do you think about Calculus attempting to protect their investment by putting out info that the Scancell machine failed to do.? Now, any links with the recent resignation from the BOD? Looks a possiblity now? Maybe... let's watch the share price ... AIMO ATB | oldnotwise
14/8/2018 11:45 | @GlencrossJohn "Good chat with Cliff Holloway, CEO of @scancellpharma, this morning. The SCIB1 combo trial previously announced by the company is on track with those sites already selected expected to initiate the study by year end as planned." | wigwammer
14/8/2018 11:44 | Wigwammer (new recruit at LSE) I'm not sure there was ever any doubt that Calculus were still happy with SCLP, but some suggested that events could have suggested to the market that that might have been the case. 14/8/2018 11:38 | Old I agree with your post entirely. | agema
14/8/2018 11:36 | For those interested in Scancell - worth visiting the LSE board and reading Botski's post. CEO reiterating timelines for scib1 combination trial. Appears Calculus remain happy holders :) | wigwammer
14/8/2018 11:36 | Loz Hehe :-) | oldnotwise
14/8/2018 11:34 | Well done LOZ on fixing the roof while the sun shines rather than the Village Hediott who keeps on fighting the fire with a HOle in his BUCket the Size of his EGO. If it was the size of his BRAIN then he would still be able to retain most of the Water. He really is beyond the Pail ha ha | drdobson1
14/8/2018 11:34 | O N W - Always good to see you here. Just another 'Alternative View' Given that lse is NOT 'solely to provide a SCAM platform for SCLP trHYPERS... But IS in the business of 'selling advertising space'.... one wonders as to their 'business plan'... IF... the 'Advertising revenue' suffers, cos NO ONE is there to see it ??? Maybe, lse are in 'other lines' of *business* for those willing to PAY the £20 a month to ensure they 'Get their message across'....Unhindere lse DO have a 'strange way' of....'selling advertising space'...by driving folks away. Don't they ??? | the real lozan
14/8/2018 11:26 | Agema Those posts are not the only thing that should be pulled from that source in my opinion! He's actually heading towards the sort of egocentricity displayed by You Know Who... but I suppose as the arbiter of what should or shouldn't be posted on a public forum (ie what should be removed) I'm sure that C7/35 is just the person to be in control for a good balanced technically astute BB! Only time will tell..... Bit like the eventual outcome for SCLP shares.... :-) AIMO ATB | oldnotwise
14/8/2018 11:19 | Old One good thing. I see Chelsea has had 4 or 5 posts pulled today. Saved us from the usual drivel. It must be costing lse some cash. Manpower wise, deleting all those posts. Debate is dead, the world has gone mad. | agema
14/8/2018 11:16 | I see the removal of posts that don't suit the usual suspects continues apace on the MFFF with inane comments that do are retained. Difficult to reconcile "ADMIN's" "rules" with reality, but then again.... LOL Sorry guys but if I do post in the future this BB will "cop it"! Not much to say about SCLP at the moment, so guess it's still a waiting game. ATB | oldnotwise
14/8/2018 11:00 | Hiya Tosh - "He should listen and learn shouldn't he." But, What's that they say about = 'You CAN't polish a ???? Some will never learn... cos they think they already know everything | the real lozan
14/8/2018 10:47 | Well done Loz, as ive said before, it sounds like a wonderful life that you have made for yourself over there , which is in total contrast to that of our resident village idiot, who is clearly treading water waiting for the day that he can retire peacefully, and enjoy the fruits of his labour... oh hang on, he has all of his fruit is in one basket, and that basket is pretty much empty. He should listen and learn shouldn't he. | tosh123
14/8/2018 10:33 | Just by way of a 'change' = A welcome report of a recent 'successful investment' Following the 'investment' of time and money ...{ Mainly my own time and efforts } may I report on the 'successful return on my recent investment'. After 3/4 weeks of 'graft' in 40+ C blazing sun, by myself, Mrs Lozan and an expat Steve { who helped do the 'heavy stuff}... following a couple of rain showers [and a few additional minor adjustments}, I am happy to inform *US ALL*, as to results of recent 'roof works at Lozan Towers' = BONE DRY .... Also = Very happy with the new SUV ..... Obla Di, Obla da -----Life goes ON | the real lozan
14/8/2018 10:03 | P S - A very 'popular passtime' now in Thailand, since the 'previous money-earner passtime' of 'trying to trHYPE-UP' a share price proved a 'money-earning FAILURE' | the real lozan
14/8/2018 09:41 | Who is 'making any money' regarding the M F F F lse SCLP forum ??? Rumour has it, that 'Far Eastern Betting Syndicates' are 'cashing-in' on how long it takes to get a 'post' removed | the real lozan
14/8/2018 09:21 | Terror, well said that pretty much sums up the last 5 years. Failure after failure to deliver on statements made which is encapsulated in the share price performance. Nothing to do with sentiment or being on AIM, the fault lies 100% with Scancell. | panama7
14/8/2018 08:06 | The share price is falling again today as Calculus lose complete confidence that Scancell will deliver on any part of its plan. Falling below the recent placing is not a good sign. The anger from Calculus at the recent offer price is now being played out in an obvious rift between main investor and Board. The scientific process has been too slow, the placings too low, the planned progress never happens and the elusive licencing deal remains more elusive than ever. Dark clouds approaching. | terror |
