never said it was scancells money, learn to read what is written ONW, however the primary development is around the IP of moditope,

owned by scancell so any advance in development = added value ...

Miavoce, he did say monetize assets in the near to short term but I wonder if questions would then be asked with regards to the recent award of share options.

rHattonIt was the fact that he said 'very near' and 'short term' with regard to the monetization and he seemed very confident in saying this.

miavoce, he spoke to great science resulting in great data which results in great deals. He said scancell are approaching the latter half of that journey. So I actually think he means post the results on SCIB1 and MOD1 then the assets can be monitized. Which I know is further out then people want to hear but I would be surprised and happy though if any deal surfaced prior.
When I say deal I mean one with money attached.

When Cliff said that Scancell would be monetizing its assets in the very near future / short term I took that to be an indication of a deal resulting in inflow of funds within weeks. No clue how much though.Do others have the same reading of his comment ?

Tosh, exactly. The £20 million will go to ‘project blueprint’ which hopefully will feature moditope technology as a central part. Good to be mixing with BioNtech and Genentech though!

It appears that some on the other place are STILL still under the illusion that the potential £20 mill Challenge funding, will somehow find its way onto our balance sheet !
I don't understand what makes people continue to harp on about the cash... The cash is totally irrelevant, it makes no real difference to the balance sheet other than funding a trial, what is important, is the " potential " upside, if the results are positive.. the £20 mill has nothing to do with Scancell.

It REALLY is 'pityful' to watch the 'resident' M F F F trHYPERS and their 'mobile fans'... TRY to SPIN this 'fiasco'.
Not only do *WE ALL* see 'mobile fans' hearing things that are NOT there...
But, the resident loonies have moved-on from the misCONception of CERTAINTY of FREE MONEY - BEING READILY AVAILABLE
... to now - der leader trying to CLAIM that SCLP BoD hold all the 'CARDS' in any future negociations =

This is akin to a 'drowning man' refusing a 'life-belt' ... on the grounds of 'The drowning man, not liking the colour of ''The life-belt on 'OFFER'.

Terror if you call that a 'tiff' you ain't lived.
Panama - very funny.

Actually, this bit of self congratulation by C7 19.52 yesterday led to my taking issue - he posted ''One big jigsaw puzzle coming together. My plaudits go to the whole BOD, and particularly RG. Well done all of us, for keeping the faith, simply many didn't.''

I thought it right to address that because we had a 'tiff' about it at the time.

Not that it really matters but when RG was asked about "which Moditope adjuvant" at the 2017-10 AGM and didn't say, the (possible) clue was in the 2017-09-13 CIMT poster abstracts pdf:

B007 / Conjugation of peptide vaccine directly to TLR agonists generates enhanced immune responses and tumor therapy
Brentville V, [snip] Durrant L, ... ISA Pharmaceuticals BV.

"These studies suggest that intradermal injection of citrullinated peptide linked directly to a Th1 polarising adjuvant such as TLR1/2 or TLR9 agonist should be considered for translation into the clinic."

Or am I just slow here having only just noticed?
