One thing I will say is that we have more than one item of potential news to consider and as such I think we'll see a bit of a recovery from these levels....
I certainly take your point about not going "Gung Ho" but the recent recognition by CRUK of both SCIB and MODI quite apart from the Durrant LED (Nods to BOB)PROJECT BLUEPRINT) means that the validation we were told to get when peddling the platforms round the US has been forthcoming, and we get several bites at the cherry in the news harvest over the next few months.
Like you I quite agree anyone invested here has had every opportunity to get their investment to the size and level they needed, so there surely shouldn't be anyone "chasing the market" because whatever the arguments that have been had, the majority of LTHs should have realised that SCLP is a cut above the average from a scientific viewpoint. Still plenty of risk, BUT the immediate future looks like it could be a little brighter than the doldrums into which we settled for the last couple of years.
So, hopefully lessons have been learned, and now we can see whether the traders take us for a ride which LTHs enjoy for a change!
I do hope so.....

Tosh,

The fact that LD is the team leader should prevent that happening. Can't stress enough how impressive some of those names are though.

Just realised.... with all the IFs we have now SCLP might return to being a bit of a stock for the traders... hehe
That'll be interesting...

Panama... lets hope that Scancell's ( LD's ) involvement isn't lost under the other names involved... But totally agree that publicity is crucial.

Lozon... She is the only reason that I didn't sell out all my shares, but have continued to hold the freebies.
I have said it before and i'll say it again, LD is by far the most valuable asset that we have. I have been invested in " her " for sometime now.
She has always delivered, its just a shame that other " members " haven't done the same !

Reckon there'll be a few Big Pharma getting a team together to look seriously at the Moditope patent situation now! My guess (FWIW) is that the Modi patent RNS takes on a whole new importance.... AND if (massively crossed fingers) Scancell's collaboration in the CRUK recognised Project Blueprint linkup pays off with the attendant award and funding..... then even I'll admit that RG may well have been right all along with the "hint" at the AGM for cash to spend...
Add to this the EXTERNAL VALIDATION that such a scenario would provide (quite apart from the existing shortlist validation) and then I think we're in for a bit of a rerate!!!
Time to sit back and hopefully..... :-)

Wow wow wow.... What fantastic news.
Fingers crossed that we are successful.

LD is worth her weight in gold.... I doff my cap to her... yet again.
She is by far, the only really tangible asset, and for me, accounts for 75% of Scancells current value.

At last, a glimmer of sense over on the other place.
Wildforce concedes that the shares are too tightly held to be played ! Hurrah ! Hurrah ! Hurrah !
How many times have idiots over there posted that people are trying to manipulate the share price with their posts... hundreds !
The reality is that nothing anyone says on any of these small BB's has any effect on a share price.
Nor does the share lend itself to " trading ", it NEVER HAS.
Theres far to few shares in open float, and theres absolutely no volatility what so ever, thus anyone that claims the share is being traded, it an absolute moron.
Why would a trader mess around with a low priced, low volatility, low volume stock, when the rest of the market is far more attractive ?

Some of the stories and rationales coming from the idiots over there, in attempts to justify the shares very poor performance, are laughable.
It beggars belief sometimes... The answer to the riddle is staring everyone square in the face, if you choose to ignore it and try to make up your own reasons, you will, as has been seen on many occasions, get hurt.

C7,
with all due respect, the items that you dismiss as " not being fundamental " are exactly that, FUNDAMENTAL ... I quote " This market has been brutal in not taking into account fundamentals, funding and delays has been the single biggest criteria IMHO ".

You cant get any more fundamental than "funding and delivery ", and that, if I may be so bold, is the main issue with a lot of people on the LSE BB board, they only focus on the potential, NOT the reality, and how that reality is seen by " the market ".
The non delivery of both of these major aspects, is the very reason behind the distressed share price

Ultimately we all " believe " that SCLP have something special ( on that subject, every investor is agreed, otherwise we wouldn't be here ), but that is only a small part of the equation. Its no good having potential if you don't know / cant, convert that potential into reality, and therefore , by definition, a successful company that delivers not only to its patients, but also to its shareholders.
At the moment, we are at a crucial time in the companies development / survival.
If the means to take all the platforms forward is not found, then although the science may not be doomed, the company most certainly will be.
Lets hope that the Modi patent news will stimulate a bit more comfort, and thereby, reduce some of the inherent risks surrounding this share / company.

Nothing of conflict here, just an appraisal of the current status IMHO.

In short... The company ( BOD ) must now start to deliver... RG's words have been cheap and misleading, its time to address that and produce some substance IMHO.

Panama - you're missing my point. Flip it around, why would BioNTech put resources into adapting their tech to develop TCRs using Scancell's epitopes without 1st dibs on the end product? Do you think they're going to co-develop a modi TCR just to help Scancell license it to the competition?

Perhaps the issue lies with the term 'without paying for it'? This collaboration will be costing BioNTech in the same way researching and developing any drug costs hard cash, they'll be contributing plenty. Why should/would they do that without an option to license?

Scancell can't develop this without a partner and have managed to agree a collaboration with one of the leaders in the field. The fact that there is the possibility of a licensing deal at the end is great.
