I posted this last year but in retrospect perhaps given the links that Scancell now have with BioNTech and perhaps with ISA Pharma - it may be of interest to some.

Panama agreed on the front of their thoughts on what these announcements may have had on the share price.

Not necessarily. They could go down a similar route to CRUK has done. Data desk if successful, no upfront payment in Scancell.

I think the RG options situation is very revealing. Why no options for him, he along with LD started this company off. Also, he left at the very time the options were announced. He would have been CEO at the time of the Board discussing the options. Looks to me like he was not interested in options. Why? Because he does not believe they will ever come to fruition.?

Big red flag for me.

RH, of course if they go down the licensing route there will be payments involved but they have negotiated an exclusivity clause and not had to pay for it, that is very poor from our BOD especially when we are in desperate need of funding. Goodfellow and Chiplin both stated at the AGM there would be announcements that they believed would have a significant impact on the share price How on earth can any announcement with no revenue have an impact on the share price when everyone and his dog knows we need money. Incredibly naïve of Goodfellow and Chiplin.

Panama surely if BioNtech go down the license route if they so choose to then that will be the upfront payement and milestone payment type deal that everyone desires?

Exactly correct. No mention of payment involved in the new arrangements. Hence the share price continued drop.

Lozan, some very valid points in your post, one might also ask why we have signed an agreement with Biontech that includes an exclusivity clause but has no upfront payment attached to this clause. Had Goodfellow negotiated an upfront payment as we have seen on a multitude of occasions over the last 5 years then there really would have been a significant uplift to the share price and it could have gone a long way to addressing the funding issue. It would appear our BOD were more interested in negotiating there options package than negotiating a payment from Biontech. There is definitely the whiff of a bad smell emanating from our Boardroom.

As for messaging your lying friend gf123. I have offered to meet him as suggested by himself. He turned it down.

I have offered to compare holdings in Scancell and place a £5,000 bet on who has the most. He bottled that as well.

I have offered to leave the bb forever, never post again and give £1,000 to charity if he proves his 5million share holding here. He turned that down as well. Even TF asked him to prove it to us, so to keep me off the bb. But still he turned it down.

I offered to meet him in France last year, while we were both supposidbly in the area. He suddenly flew back here the same day I posted.

On reflection, your friend Gf123 is I believe the very same as you. On benefits, always has been a and full of you know what.

Best wishes m8.

Agema/Loz as you say those that have the most time seem more likely to comment on how working folk like ourselves should spend our hard earned.
Don’t mind that so much but when THEY TRYHPE against the ASTUTE and HARD WORKING and have more egg on their face than on a Builders Breakfast Bap you think they would keep quiet.
The Village Idiot is QUIET the question is has he seen the light or just CON fused

What I'd like to know is what kind of benefit system do we have, when you can sit at a PC all day, pay for premium memberships, trade shares with a L2 platform, no sodding wonder I have to pay 40% tax.

Lozan, a disappointing reply. I gave enough material there for one of your famous posts!!

Not sure what to CONclude from that.

In response to Elsie's 'feeble' attempt to have me compare Lindy Durrant... and der lieing trHYPER.... forget it.
In my opinion { Often expressed} Lindy Durrant is IRREPLACEABLE

Firstly - Let's address Elsie's '13534' and give it the FULL attention it deserves =
.......
So , moving on, R G - Did he jump or was he pushed???
Imagine if you will, you are a BIG PHARMA BoD... being 'tapped-up' to part with Mega-millions of "SQUIDS" by some bloke who represents a 'SMALL' Bio.
Being the 'seasoned veteran' that you MUST be { or you wouldn't be in charge of BIG PHARMA funds}... you WOULD [ and would be expected by your shareholders} look into the 'bloke and his SMALL Bio's history.
A theme would quickly present itself. Leading right back to the " Many multiples".
A 'seasoned veteran' will see = It didn't happen, and then might ask 'Why not' ???
Because Moditope came into view.."don't want to sell" is the 'popular headline'...
O K thinks the 'seasoned veteran' - SO WHY the "Many Multiples" speech ???
Did R G make the speech and FORGET to mention 'Moditope' ???
Or, Did R G not KNOW about 'Moditope'. or that was what SCLP were working towards???
Either way... The proposed "Many Multiples" sell off... FAILED to materialise.
.
For present directors / LARGE investors / ii's.....MIGHT they see, that it may be unwise, after years of FAILURE/ CHANGES of direction... to send the same bloke on yet another mission to 'Raise the VITAL FUNDING' ???
.
SO- Did R G jump.... or was he 'pushed' ???
Whichever - CHANGE was NEEDED

An interesting story. Thanks for sharing it with us.Glad to hear of your great success in business. May i ask what went wrong.? I only ask because i remember when you were first invested in scancell about 5 years ago. You were not working, no business and on benefits. Hence your very slow build up of shares here and only in here.

If you wish not to say. Fair enough i understand. Just interested in peoples life stories. The ups and downs. Best of luck with your ongoing health issues.

Lozan, part of your post contained this.........""Elsie - It is a 'fact-of-life' I have 'lived with' that in general, as you point-out =
" AFTER Lozan made the point "
I have always had the 'burden' of being able to 'see things BEFORE others do'
Nothing 'smart' about it... or 'being BIG HEADED' about it... just 'speed-of-thought' perhaps ???
Maybe linked to 'How folks say things' and 'What they ACTUALLY say / MEAN' ....
Takes some 'getting used to'
BUT - Once one DOES 'get used to it'.. The 'POINT' of what is said = becomes CLEARER"".

It made me chuckle, in your bomberarding way and relevant to my previous post to P7 to your possible horror it reminded me of me some ten years ago when i was in business. Just a couple of thoughts to this part..............""The BIG difference here is - that you NOW know - to your cost- that inane'n'co was / were making FALSE CLAIMS
HE *KNEW* HE was making FALSE CLAIMS... WHEN HE made them.
The WISER, more ASTUTE, more experienced, who avoided the LOSSES, *KNEW* it too.""

That opinion has been your backbone for many a year, but do you categorise Lindy Durrant in the same manner, the abstracts she has published, being in the top 50 most dynamic woman in Oncology and her scientific excellence being played out in Scancell.? Did Calculas Capital invest in Scancell because of Inanaco? and did Legal & General and 19 other iis buy in to Scancell despite of him, albeit at 10p?. I still maintain in the last three years the share price was in decline, i rather feel Scancell felt they might be raising at a low point in that time and what we probably will never know is how that "deal" just might have thwarted any need at that time to go for funding at the same time.

Serious questions could well be asked as to the business accumen between LD and RG and others, but not being privy to whatever occurred is it fair to make judgement calls based on ""in retrospect?""

My personal view is JC and CH have far more experience in that field, something slowly we are seeing coming into shape, with much more IMO to come, and hopefully within timelines we need to meet. Lastly, as i posted on LSE a few hours ago it does seem as if Scancell are about the only Bio on AIM not to have enjoyed quite recent rises like others have. I can understand to an extent the share price reaction to recent news, I just wonder "when" we announce something even more positive financially just how the market might react to us?.

CONveniantly a past insolvency issue has been woven into the very fabric of our new BOD, for me i employed liquidators to run a division of my debt recovery in all my companies, i am very qualified short of being an accountant in that field. Do i have to even set out here interesting "strategies" that can be adopted by Directors for their own financial gain, in all walks of life?? nor indeed in very rare cases where Directors can be held culperable personally to losses under a limited company banner.

Not expecting you Loz to take off your Lozan hat and address this post as i have just done to P7, it will more than do me just for you to read it, but inside the framework of this post offers a bit of balance and hope to the usual ADVFN line. I long at the moment to smell fresh air with some warmth and have no doubts as to your life choices you have......it was just a shame some five years back you posted something along these lines lol........""If you were sitting in a pub and were the last person on earth the thought of sharing just a moment with me would be the last thing on earth you could do"", it was something like that and has sat with me for a very long time, i am sure you remember it well too. Well have a good weekend, you never will know, but you might just have missed out on something very good and at the very least certainly interesting. Take care.
