Inan,
"have you any facts to support CRUK thought SCIB2 was a dud ???"

I never said I thought that. I said it was "ONE of the sides of the coin". Clearly SOME people think that.

"but maybe they can help develop a pre-clinical candidate with its existing staff"

Is a good point. Did you copy it from my earlier post on LSE?

Perhaps a glimmer of hope we could have a sensible debate?

or

CRUK cannot afford a trial today as SCIB2 is ready and manufacture is expensive

but maybe they can help develop a pre-clinical candidate with its existing staff

have you any facts to support CRUK thought SCIB2 was a dud ???

or are you yet again using Dim Wit imagination to just ""make it up""

if you do think that, why did you buy yesterday ??????? the news is not new !!

Inan,
Your 36489.

Thanks for posting, but I think most grown up investors are aware of how the Covid pandemic has impacted the funding of charities, cancer charities included.

Presumably you posted this as an antidote to the RNS stating CRUK had ditched Scancell?

Well there are two sides to the coin (although you can only see one from your vantage point in "flatland towers")....

1. CRUK rate the chances of success of SCIB2 (risk/reward if you like) as inferior to other collaborations on the go (or even recently announced as gooosed pointed out earlier.

2. Scancell were unlucky to be pulled out of the hat.

I'm not saying which view is right, you need to make up your own mind. But if you are in camp 1 your are probably one of today's early sellers. If you are camp 2 you will probably see this is as a buying opportunity.

If, on the other hand (three hands now!) you are in camp Inan you will see every hour of every day as a buying opportunity and paid over the odds a few days ago.

Parliamentary debate on how to protect the UK from new COVID-19 variants seems to be ramping up at PMQs......blocking people from coming into the country without full quarantine is clearly an unsustainable position......so more resiliance to new variants is fast becoming an imperative.

It will work or it won't work.

Th risk reward is very attractive, they have the backing.

All investors have to do is sit and wait to see how it pans out. A nice simple share.

A pleasure this one, the backers used a professor do all the research and it's quite clear they spend many months doing it and went through 20 companies.

Interesting bio tech and if it hits it will hit big.

Relatively simple to understand.

But I think I'll trust Prof Peter James with months of research and an expert rather than a random ADVFN poster.

It looks like they just removed a blockage from the system that would have dragged on.

I noted it, SCIB2 in the results but not mentioned in the interview just days later.

Sorry, is my English not clear enough?
I'm saying YOU don't know. You may think you do but you DON'T

I'm very conscious of the risks and quite capable of calculating a ratio.
You are oblivious to the risks and get a "divide by zero" error.

tosh, I know I'm correct, you know I'm correct and I suspect Inan knows I'm correct but won't admit it. He's just peeved because he has cut and pasted something he clearly doesn't understand and has (once again) be called out. So now ensures the usual desperate effort to try and make the facts fit his statement. Jeez, it wasn't even his statement so he could just say the journalist is an idiot, not him LOL.

Inan,
"Why not do a Risk Reward profile ... show us how good you are !!"

You clearly don't understand what a risk reward profile is if you think it is in anyway relevant to investing in Scancell.

Why don't YOU show us what YOU mean so we get an idea of what it is you are talking about and we can follow suit?

I also strongly advise that you look back through ineptico's posting history.
You will notice that he has been wrong for every step of the last 9 years.

Take his rampy nonsense with a pinch of salt, he has continually been proven to LIE and CHEAT, and some of his claims are laughable.

What's even funny, is the that he now asks Gazza to do a " risk reward " profile.
I say that this is funny because according to the idiot, there are NO RISKS here whatsoever !

The fact of the matter is, contrary to what the moron posts, this is a very high risk investment.
The world of baby bio's is littered with companies who have had great ideas, but failed.
As the government scientists ( and anyone with a modicum of sense will tell you ) the world of Bio, is fraught with risks and dangers. There is no such thing as a risk free investment.

I beg you to take the time to read back through this idiots history, it's jam packed with lies.

By all means invest ( i have ) but do so with the knowledge that this is very risky, anything can happen.. We could all do very nicely out of this, but we could also lose everything, thats the nature of investing.
No one knows whats around the corner or how trial results will translate into the real world.

There are some very good balanced posters on here, i urge you to listen to what they have to say as well as doing your own research. Disregard the ramblings of the mad man.... he is very dangerous.... speak to the many who invested at 45p in the ineptico club many years ago.
The facts are all there, you just need to chuck out the chaff.

" This is no reflection on the Scancell project"
Of course it is. Do you think they put projects in a hat and it came down to the luck of the draw? They surely would have applied some criteria to who was going to be ditched.

Inan re. 36472 - it appears that, during the time of CRUK's stewardship of SCIB2, the 'delivery system' changed from 'Electroporation' (Dec2017) to 'Nanoparticle technology' (May 2019), meaning CRUK probably advanced the SCIB2 project that way ?

Does that mean categorically that CRUK had dropped the 'Combo' concept with a CI ?
