The option over the Aldeia ground will be accretive to the overall development of Mina do Barroso as it opens the opportunity to secure potential strike extensions to the existing Reservatorio Deposit whilst also offering the potential to discover additional deposits. These extensions and discoveries could, in turn, increase the overall resource of the Project, extend the current defined mine life of 11 years, and/or potentially increase annual production. In addition, this will give us
additional flexibility in terms of configuring the layout of our site infrastructure and provides an opportunity to reduce the costs for the Project at the same time.

So increase in size of resource
Increase in mine life
Reduction of costs

Sounds good to me!

How's your Portuguese?

Very keen (for obvious reasons) to grow Portugal into a significant asset, suggests the total resource, in time, will move well beyond where we are now.

Bronco,

Definitely, good to see DA thinking ahead. Block B certainly covers most of the lith corridor south of Reservatorio and will given good expo potential for life beyond Grandao. Block A also has the potential to become Grandao East too. So a very good strategic move to secure this option at an early stage as I'm sure larger companies will be looking at the expo licences around us.

Regards,
Ed.

Sorry, badly worded post. The one I was referring to was the one given by Michael McGarty referenced by IB post 1073. Here's the link again:-

Thanks Ged, no it wasn't that one the CFO presented, was run by mining journal.

DA talks about moving a lot of our resource into the MEASURED category.

Could be the next game changer!

Thanks IB, makes a change to hear a North Manchester accent.

Is this the presentation you were at George?

Some nice bits from the update.....

Phase 3 of the metallurgical test work programme continues to progress well

• A second diamond drill rig is due to arrive on site shortly to commence geotechnical drilling to support the fast-tracked Feasibility Study

• Detailed discussions continue with potential Feasibility Study specialists

Wowers and I thought KOD had good assays today! Look at the grades and intersects, lots of wide zones of lith here. Can't wait to see what our next resource upgrade comes in at and how much it adds to our 14Mt and $350m. Glad I checked KOD first as I'd been disappointed there after seeing SAV's amazing widths and future upgrade potential.

Ed.

Yes, all ‘long intervals’ at good grade with a significant portion occurring from near surface.

On our way again. Placing price 38.9% higher than previous one.

Now enough cash to increase the Lithium resource.

Oman licence soon - well at least before 2020. ;))

Mutamba news imminent.

Gap filled. RSI and Williams rising.

Portugal is going to be huge! :)))

Wisteria,

It certainly is the main driver now although Oman is likely to be in production first and the big daddy feasibility study is to come from Moz too (although at the current rate Portugal is catching up very nicely and its made remarkable progress over the last 12 months).

Ed.

Agree Ed, lots of news for the foreseeable on the Portuguese front, and is in my opinion the main driver of the share price. gla holders

Yup fellas, very good cash position now and our large Omani shareholders are no longer alone. It would be interesting to see if any of these other list of tier 1 instis have picked up more than 3% each, that 15% of the company may be spread a little thinner though. Its only a matter of time now before our significant initial scoping study is improved on as drilling is continuous to at least early next year so lots to report on. Also DA hinted that they could keep drilling in Portugal for years if they chose to, so tip of the iceberg springs to mind. And of course that is just one of the active projects. So agree with you chaps that selling now would be nuts. Looking forward to when they add another 50%+ to our reserves in Portugal.

Regards,
Ed.

Yep, v strong cash position. Raising 11mm was unthinkable even a couple of months' ago. Generating that kind of cash shows where people believe this is going.

The market always overshoots and undershoots, 15 was too high too soon, that’s all, it happens all the time. It’ll get there again and higher imo just a matter of time...and timing if you’re a trader.

Much stronger position since the fund raise yet people sell? Illogical I think.

The placing was done too cheaply and has crashed all positive momentum that took a long time to develop. Yes, they need to fund Portugal to BFS but if it is such a compelling project , why such a deeply discounted price.FFS , we hit 15p + a few weeks ago.
Oman momentum ( lol) up in smoke with still no mining licence.
Disappointed, but in for the long game.
