Don't panic Ged, truth in what you've said but similar comments could be leveled at most miners and explorers from time to time and there seems to be poor sentiment across the whole sector at the moment and for the last few months in fact.

Personally I'll give DA the benefit of the doubt a while longer, I'm sure he feels the same frustration we do when things don't go to plan but he can't rant openly, he has to make the best of things. His interests are very much aligned with ours. I know you know that.

I've not been following too closely these past few weeks but I can understand the drop in share price.

Two directors selling large amount of shares and no matter what the reason there will be some who would see it as a possible reason to sell some or all of their holdings.

Of more concern to me was the rejected exploration licence applications. It was my understanding they were a formality. I was particularly disappointed not to have the one for Reigoso not to have been granted.

Savannah's record of being granted licences is becoming abysmal.

We are now 14 months late with the Oman licence.

Mozambique we were led to believe would be granted in July and low and behold that was then changed to October. Let's see if that happens!

We are constantly being told we have a mining licence for Mina do Barroso. Let's not forget that's only for 7M tonnes. It's my understanding that an application for a licence to increase this was also a formality. Will I be disappointed again?

Mr Archer you might tell us about the need for lithium. You might tell us about more drilling and increased resource. You might tell us about options to acquire land in Portugal.

Well done on raising more funds for Portugal but have you forgotten Oman and Mozambique? And do you actually know how to acquire a licence?

Summer is over. One which began so well but finished so poor. I'm sure we'll have plenty of news over the next few months but will you improve on your 100% failure of obtaining a licence by giving us an announcement of at least one of them being awarded?

Come on Mr Archer, step up to the mark.

Why is it so quiet on this forum? Can anyone shed light on how the price hasn’t budged even though the share was massively bought yesterday and continues to do so today, buys outstripping sells 10:1 yet no upward movement of share price? Is this a further placing of shares behind the scenes or some market jiggery Pokery?

The never ending saga of the Oman ML continues unabated. Must be at least a year late. At this rate Portugal will be first into production....

Common sense seems to have returned, the selling has tapered off for the time being, -0.45 (-5.23%) is not that bad, obviously a tree shake by the mm based of today's RNS. Those who sold out of fear should have noted this in the RNS.

"Savannah currently intends to make tender offers once the tender process is launched and believes that it has excellent credentials for this process with a strong balance sheet and demonstrated lithium exploration and development expertise."

IMHO the these Non-core Portuguese Exploration Licence Applications were not priced into the SAV M/Cap. They were of no relevance to the M/Cap!.

As per the RNS
"Savannah currently intends to make tender offers once the tender process is launched"

That is a good and clear statement. If SAV are successful in the Tender process these non core Portuguese Licences will then be priced into the M/Cap. The share price will get back to it highs in a very short time. Possibly even by early next week!!!!!

Yeah it looks like. I guess the Portuguese didn't want SAV to be the only producer of lith in Portugal. :)

Shocking price action on zero news. Bet those that sold the rise to 16p are happy. MC diminishing by the day!

I missed that, think you're right BW can't understand the selling except any excuse to bash resource stocks at the mo.

Interesting though sounds like the Portuguese authorities have wised up and want to maximise value, don't blame them.

New permits rejected and going to tender. Wasn't priced in so not sure should be any share price reaction.

sea,

Canceled my limit and paid £0.08874. Should have canceled yesterday and pick them up @ 8.55p.

Still all is well with my increased holdings of SAV. IMHO SAV are still very cheap.
When MOZAMBIQUE RNS comes, watch them fly like and eagle.

depends if 8p is your limit price.

Still think that will be become self fulfilling, purely from a chart perspective and only for a few days max.

Pale,

Cheers for the clarification from DA. I cannot see any other lith concentrate producers able to ship to Europe cheaper than SAV who'll be producing there. We're likely to have a clear run of production in Europe if DA sticks to his aggressive timetable. Its on my long term accumulation list too. Happy with my holding for now though.

Ed.

David answered me which was good of him as I sent to the pr address. Won't paste it but just to say they took into account l/t price outlook when compiling the scoping study and base case spodumene price used was a third lower than today's price. He feels there's enough buffer in place, especially with our cost of extraction, to see us through the worst of analyst scenarios so far and it could be that analysts are overrating the speed with which the bigger outfits will mobilise.

Reassuring and no further action for me, other than maybe to be greedy if an opportunity presents.

BW they pulled because some analysts are forecasting lithium prices to halve 2020 onwards even though d3mand could 4x, reason being there’s a lot of it out there and the big boys haven’t really started yet. It could work for or against us imo depending how quickly we increase resource imo ergo how potentially attractive we become at a fair price.

I emailed the co today for a bit of enlightenment if they can provide it, particularly spodumene prices going forward.
