Ged,

No worries fella. Yeah there's lots more potential here and the area always looked good. There was a picture of the outcroppings and that was one of the main reasons that I bought. With so many areas that the stuff is sticking out of the ground suggested there was gonna be plenty of spodumene down there too. I'm glad I took the punt which turned into an investment as its now for me head and shoulders the best lith play on AIM. Grade, thickness, plus byproducts and its basically 100% spodumene and being driven through the expo at an incredible rate. KOD for example still waiting for a JORC, in less time SAV had JORC, upgrade and scoping study and now working on DFS! Its being lined up to produce towards the start of the EV boom. IRR is superb here too so looking at a cash cow by 2020 if Oman doesn't come in to roost before.

Regards,
Ed.

Thanks again Ed, for your excellent explanation!

I have had it explained once but over a few pints! I must be just thick!

Thanks Ed!

I completely misread it but glad I asked. I misinterpreted the 600m down dip!

Dale Ferguson must know the area very well. He originally acquired Mina do Barroso from Imerys Ceramics through Slipstream. I'm sure he'll know the new area will add value.

Ged,

I see what you're referring to now, the 600m downdip. If you look at the diagrams of these finds this is a very hilly area. That just means there's a vertical drop of 600m from the highest mineralisation to the current lowest point. This is down the hillslope but its still shallow interms of drill depth 45-140m, which now extends around 600m downdip which will be approximate strike length of Grandao extended, so going very well. So both the landscape and veins of spodumene dip downwards.

Regards,
Ed.

Ged,

I'm not sure where you are getting that 600m from. The deepest intersect in today's RNS was found at 148m, most if not all holes tend to be drilled at an angle too so this is likely TVD of about 100-120m. It starts from 45m down in hole 18GRARC106, so its all pretty shallow pittable resources at high grades that will help boost out $350m NPV ($1.5bn LOM) by quite some margin. Not all of the holes will be like today's in extending the known discoveries that add to tonnage, some will be infill diamond holes to get more up to measured reserve. But the more measured the easier it will be to finance. Are you getting the feeling too that the further south and west we get from Grandao/Grandao extended the better this is getting. Its starting to look that way. I wonder is that the reason they picked up those recent licences, the same may happen at Reservatorio too.

Regards,
Ed.

This morning's tweet:-

More, lengthy high grade #Lithium intersections reported today from #MinadoBarroso Project e.g. chunky 47m hit at 1.35% - mineralisation thickening and expanding in and under Pit 1 and extending from Pit 2. Grades up to 1.57%. #Energymetals for #Europe.

Last two tweet's have wording which seems to hit the mark. New PR?

Interesting news from Alara this morning.

If other banks have contacted them about helping to finance their copper project in Oman since the mining licence award then it bodes well for SAV when they get their mining licencce.

Spot on Ed, with your 1124 post. And just to back you up they give more drilling results.

Have I read correctly that previous depth was 100m but now it's 600m?

With the extra drill and fully funded I don't think it will be too long before we have another update.

You may have read the results yesterday from Base. There was an interesting section on the pries of ilmenite, zircon and rutile, which we have in our joint venture with Rio in Mozambique.

SAV never fails to impress. Grades are getting higher still and lots of substantial intercepts and now over 16,000m drilled. The maiden JORC was based on around 9000m of drilling so pace is fab for the drilling. REally looking forward to the next resource upgrade as the resource is thickening with better grades in this downdip extension.

Ed.

Ged,

Significant progress for just one year and now we're looking forward to the next 12 months nearly more so. Drilling continuous, assays and upgrades to come, its relentless. Then Oman and Moz updrates have to come at some time, likely this year too. Goodness knows where this one will be this time next year. The above tweet was during a year that SAV had modest levels of funding, now raised £12.5m and got an options cash injection of another £600k. So cash mountain now to get things done.

Regards,
Ed.

No RNS but this tweet is good:-

SAV anniversary of 1st drill hole at #MinadoBarroso #Lithium with 0 tonnes start - one year on: maiden resource, 2 upgrades, 14Mt, W. Europe's largest #spodumene resource, scoping study completed, DFS underway, fully funded to FID and 2020 prodn target.

Unfortunately we have a load of placed shares at 9p so all of the placing recipients have a free option anywhere above 9p. That should be a floor.

Inb,

Yes you did, he said they'll be drilling additional areas and they'll keep drilling while they keep fining the stuff. Most of the drilling will be on Grand, Reser and Noa for extension and infill, but there will be some new areas drilled too. I'm hoping we get our next reserve upgrade end of this Q and another end of next Q as that will set us up nicely for the feasibility. In the mean time updates on Oman or Moz could pop up at any time.

Regards,
Ed.

Did I hear him talking about some additional drilling elsewhere. Will have to listen through again, but if I did hear properly, I wonder if they are getting ready to expand into different areas with some of the new applications being approved - Reigoso perhaps?

Thanks IB,

Interview also on the website.

So work starts tomorrow with the usual over optimistic date for completion of 1st quarter next year.

In the meantime we can expect further resource updates. Perhaps the first one is being prepared!

https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&a=&v=8_2uceBLB-AInterview on today's rns.Two PFS underway by two world class companies on two first class assets in Moz and Portugal. Should be an interesting early part of next year as both final investment decisions due.And then there is Oman.....mmmmmm...for that to be up and at it by the end of this year, they will be needing some sort of go ahead in the next couple of months. It's very hot in Oman at present so I hope the air conditioning is working.

Another box ticked. Perhaps just a little later than originally planned but now it's fully funded and they've got an experienced, reputable company to do the job.

Yes Ed, plenty more to come in this second half of the year.

Interesting news, another essential step towards development in Portugal. Seems like a very experienced outfit that they've got in to do the feasibility study.

Pale,

Well with THR its one substantial and the other two quite good and a big difference on delivery. SAV lay out a plan and deliver, THR are slow on the delivery side too which has hit their price. Pilot mountain is about the same size as Portugal (about $1.4bn LOM) for SAV but then SAV's asset is due two upgrades this year. So pace and scale is much bigger/faster here. But yes both are very undervalued at present.

Regards,
Ed.
