I should apologise for my rather facetious tone of late. I think SAV will make it big in the next 3 years. Oman though has become an embarrassment, not their fault , but you wonder why we have a major Oman based shareholder yet the government moves as a glacial pace. Still , predictions of a Cu deficit through 2019-23 should mean they mine the stuff at the right time.

Well it looks like the Moz PFS is now Q1 next year, at least the cash position is quite good.

All good but constantly pushed back.Portugal up dates will keep things ticking along but the real action will be in spring next year when the BFS is published and mine development decisions made. Whether Oman has the ML by then is anyone’s guess and ditto the Mozambique mining leases. Clearly with positive outcomes on these 2, SAV will be well set .
6 month waiting game now.

Fair point and where speculation is focusing GED, and opinion is split, Trump not helping with a possible hiccup in global growth thanks to his trade war. That and the sheer volume of Li in the ground are concerns.

But EV will happen even if a lesser pace, and we'll benefit from both Cu and Li all being well. Our Li production costs will be in the lowest quartile and we should benefit from early production if we get that far without being taken out.

Depressing climate at the moment though.

Yep, at least that is some news from Oman and they haven't forgotten about it completely!

The way things are going Portugal will be in production before Oman.

Good RNS this morning and to me that signals that the ML has been granted.

Why otherwise would they bother to do more drilling and spending more money.

It is only a matter of time before we get the news that the ML is in the bag.

Any one care to share their view on this and agree with me.

Boredom; lack of news on Oman and Mozambique.
Oman was supposed to be the front runner asset but the ML is now approaching 18 months behind schedule and there’s no chance of CU production this side of 2020 the way it is going.

Why all the small sells today, anyone any thoughts?

There was an Edison email this morning 'explaining' lithium but it was nothing new just repeating what's been known for months. The only new consideration, I think, is the effect Trump's trade actions might have overall on global growth and possible dent to EV takeup - but they didn't even touch on that.

See that ADVFN must think that yesterday's rns was so good, they have carried it twice.And good it was too. Bang on the original guidance for resource upgrade, meanwhile the target now extended to the early 30's, so another 50% to come, and that's just Grandao and Reservatorio. Not forgetting some sort of offtake agreement over the coming weeks before year end, plus Moz ML likely over next three weeks.

I remember the same excitement at the time of both Oman and Moz news.

Think the Moz news added over 50% on the day of that RNS.
