08/6/2017 17:39 | Bushwack, I'm just talking off the top of my head but no, savp are taking over major oil company assets, we will give them some shares, some cash, and still owe them money to be paid back. It must be very big indeed. I can't see it having any purpose other than to fund Niger. Is this a tax smart way to allow a bigger compant to buy in? Given how AK thinks telephone numbers when valuing Agadem, if he is handing over equity, cash and debt , his target must be very big? If they have producing assets can we borrow against them? Who knows? | family values
08/6/2017 17:38 | No phone call now, postponed. | trulyscrumptious
08/6/2017 17:34 | It could be the same one that was a near miss last year. | trulyscrumptious
08/6/2017 17:30 | Didn't read it on Wiki, but will concede if I am mixing who is actually doing the takeover. However in that case will SAVP then cease to exist and our share be transfered to the other company? | bushranger
08/6/2017 17:23 | wow...just WOW !this is clearly the "SIGNIFICANT" news referred to.i was extremely upset at the "significant" news yesterday but this more than makes up for it...big time!just massive news. will almost certainly come back to market with new name and significantly higher share price not only that but they have been sorting this out since January so are are already 6 months into it and go on to say they are on an accelerated path.they will not be suspended for long, maybe 1-2 monhs hopefully instead of usual 6 months or so.no wonder there was no dilutive JV announced !just fantastic !! | lithological heterogeneities
08/6/2017 17:15 | No bush ranger, if you had read to the bottom of the wiki page you would see that it also applies to a smaller company , SAVP, taking over a bigger company , say Exxon Mobile or BP, LOL. Think big AK , like you know who's cankles | family values
08/6/2017 17:11 | A reverse takover means that effectivly someone is buying SAVP and that company then transfers/ mergers itself into SAVP? That could be a listed company or a non-listed one that would then become listed without need of IPO. The reason it is called a reverse takover is because the company that does the takeover becomes the company that is taken over ? | bushranger
08/6/2017 17:04 | runwaypaul, What are you talking about you moron? I've better things to consider than how thick you are. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
08/6/2017 16:51 | Ngms27 I don't think the operational news flow would be gagged. News hopefully will leak on the target, if it is listed it will have to be suspended too. All very exciting. We are offering cash, some of our equity (dilution) and taking out a loan. So they must be some size. Who has infrastructure close to Niger that would complement us? A pipeline, refinery? It must be of value to Niger development to make sense surely? | family values
08/6/2017 16:48 | How big ? Acquire - 'substantially all of their oil and gas assets in the region'. Nigeria ? Chad ? Envisaged to involve a mixture of debt, equity and cash being issued to the seller. Equity - We can issue shares to them. Debt - deffered payment or a loan facilty to buy it? Cash to be paid - we have it for around 3 wells - we have around $12m available from the undrawn loan facility or raise more via an equity issue ? Can we in turn raise capital on their assets that we buy ? Surely if a mixture of equity, debt and cash they must be a producer/booked reserves as i doubt they want solely exploration risk ? And surely not a small outfit if it involves all 3 elements to allow them access to our 4 blocks as a stake holder and classed as a Reverse Take Over ? | zengas
08/6/2017 16:47 | While suspended there might not be any drilling RNS's etc, but WTFDIY other than I'd of preferred the status quo rather than empire building. | ngms27
08/6/2017 16:38 | Watching all the update RNS, drilling, logging, trace of oil , flood of oil, too much bloody oil, moving rig , more drilling logging, another gusher, more bloody oil... And not able to buy or sell a thing I hope my heart stents are up to it. | family values
08/6/2017 16:33 | Bigdazzler, your public schoolboy fantasy aside, why do you think the share holders will be disadvantaged? It is clear to anyone following this that the complete opposite is the intention. Naughty boy | family values
08/6/2017 16:32 | Yes, I wouldn't be too keen with having my money tied up for a good few weeks! | 2prsimo
08/6/2017 16:27 | Is this a wise thing to be at, given our funding needs for Niger? | family values
08/6/2017 16:27 | Need to look out for another co. suspending ;) Any other suspended today that anyone is aware of? | ifthecapfits
08/6/2017 16:14 | Good news if you own your shares and don't need to sell, the company are unlikely to enter into a poor deal. It's possible there could be some dilution though. | trulyscrumptious
08/6/2017 16:13 | Surge in volume in LEK recently. Just saying | family values
08/6/2017 16:13 | re read the rns buffythebaboon 6-9months likely. | runwaypaul
08/6/2017 16:08 | Ngms, the region is right, but the market cap is smaller than SAVP. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
08/6/2017 16:07 | "is seeking to complete the Proposed Transaction on an accelerated timescale." Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weeke.....ooops!! | kirkuk
08/6/2017 16:07 | For the idiots saying it could take months, perhaps they should read the RNS, or maybe we can read it to them, if they can't read. Buffy | buffythebuffoon |
