08/6/2017 16:03 | In theory RTO would imply the other company has greater assets, whether that includes finance remains to be seen. | bandflex
08/6/2017 16:02 | If a beautiful bouncing baby and bouncing share price is the result of the 9 month wait I'm very happy. Even if it does have red hair and fat thighs | family values
08/6/2017 16:01 | Very surprised but could be good? Unfortunately this will be suspended from 6 to 8 months in my view if you look at previous suspensions for similar RTOs It takes at least 8 weeks to get through the ukla and the prospectus sorted. | g1g4lo
08/6/2017 15:59 | enjoy the 6-9 month wait. | runwaypaul
08/6/2017 15:58 | Is this good or bad? Given we need additional monies for the expanded drilling, is AK going to splurge our overdraught on a clapped out rust bucket? I hope AK knows what he's doing ? Still, SAVP HQ will be a hungry house for a bit, I have to change JH's moniker to lean chops. Any thought on who the target is? Are we buying out the Chinese , LOL. Says oil and gas, west african | family values
08/6/2017 15:58 | For those who haven't read it. Is the conf call suspended as well. If not, there'll be another RNS tomorrow morning! Buffy | buffythebuffoon
08/6/2017 15:56 | I think if the other company has plenty of money then it's probably better than a farm-out. | bandflex
08/6/2017 15:50 | Nothing happens. It will be suspended until the reverse takeover happens. Could be a week to a few months then it will relist. | aimmafia
08/6/2017 15:50 | Don't think Malcy saw it coming either, his blog is just out! | plentymorefish
08/6/2017 15:49 | Only in my dreams Buffy! No one may believe me but as I logging to check on SAVP, and saw the announcement, my daughter was playing Jamie Lawson, " I wasn't expecting that" | family values
08/6/2017 15:49 | Yes, suspended for some reason. | buffythebuffoon
08/6/2017 15:47 | WTF!!! Who, what, where, when? | ifthecapfits
08/6/2017 15:45 | Who saw that coming? an RTO. | bandflex
08/6/2017 15:35 | Family Values, have you met Jessica? Buffy | buffythebuffoon
08/6/2017 13:34 | Great research ZENGAS Haggis Head and Beefy Chops have really done a number on the retail investor. In truth, if you put the massive disappointment at the delay in the drill date and no-show of a JV, in context of the collapse in oil prices, we probably have been relatively lucky. All these details matter not one jot, once we have a drill turning through the sands of Niger. If we find a significant amount of oil AK's gaff yesterday will be forgotten. If you are reading this AK, please throw us a few juicy morsels tomorrow. Have you rejected any suitors? If approaches were made, any ball-park figures? Dangle a Nigerian deal in front of us, anything. Failing that, stump up a few quid and sign Jessica up for Slimming World. | family values

08/6/2017 09:25 | After the increase in oil numbers yesterday I said i would prefer to see no farmout and the institutions stomp up in a bookbuilding to cover those extra wells and also if the strategyy might have changed with the major increase in oil numbers after the seismic evaluation. Farming out up to 50% as the original intention would mean giving up 850 mmbls of the original risked recoverable so balance that with needing capital for the next additional 6-7 wells and seismic and you find you don't need more than perhaps $40m-$80m depending on drilling depth and if you go ahead with seismic. If Panmure are right in their analysis $50m would be no bad thing at all. After yesterdays 85% increase in oil numbers across the prospects listed you could find it's compelling to go it alone (for now) as the real give up could be close to 1b bls risked for the sake of an initial additional $50m ? I always expected any farmout to be staged and the results of the wells would determine if the farmout partner would go to phase 2 ie review possibly the first 10 well results before committing/releasing more funds. A $250m farmout may have been split over 3 phases and definitely unlikely all at once other than committment dependent on results. If results didn't pan out over 10 wells the partner may not have moved beyond phase 1 anyway and i'd say this is where SAVP could be weighing it up re value. So there's maybe little difference in perhaps raising the cash ourselves to take us to 9-10 wells and retain all of any upside. | zengas
