Does anyone have the Market complaints email address for the FCA?

It used to be on the LSE BB but I cannot seem to find it there and the FCA website is no use as its extremely difficult to find.

I bought some last week too but shouldn't we see what AK's got to say tomorrow, remember he's in negotiations, wouldn't help if interested parties thought he was desperate to get them in to satisfy short term pi expectations, just imo.

Investors were completely misled, repeatedly, to believe that we were still on target for drilling by end of this month and a JV.

From Panmure Gordon

Savannah yesterday held a CMD presentation providing a detailed and generally very encouraging technical update on its extensive acreage position in Niger. However, there was no meaningful visibility on the forward funding position resulting in a slump in the share price. In our view, the market has moved directly to discount a placing of roughly US$50m.

All the best

Sure westmoreland lad. I'm always delighted when the market cap of one of my holdings drops for no good reason. As Buffett says, if you are a net buyer of hamburgers, why wouldn't you want the price to go down?

Cheers.

I wouldn't be surprised if the big one puts SAVP in his bucket list. He's hinted he may do several times.

Look out for the drilling to be delayed even more due to ongoing talks with a potential JV partner.

If you're reading Jimmy Lea, good of you to let Malcy attend today, given you wouldn't let a shareholder with 300,000 shares attend.

Interesting comparisons zengas, thanks for flagging. I hadn't seen but added today anyway, couldn't see why all the disappointment.

Fwiw, a poster on LSE was in touch with malcy who attended the presentation, he liked and thinks a jv will be in place before drilling starts, apparently said he's going to put them in his bucket list on Monday.

OK still no farmout or word on partner but it was said expected as being pre drill (which is a few weeks later ie August) or is there a change in strategy post seismic interpretation on JV value expectation re percentage give up for expected price versus value in institutions stompimg up more capital to cover the other 6 wells ?

If anyone has checked the numbers there's a massive, massive increase (which also translate to the risked recoverable figures by the same percentage).

In The April presentation the unrisked recoverable figures were -
Kunama had 30 mmbls - increased now to 35 mmbls.
Bushiya 37 mmbls - now 48 mmbls.
Damissa 93 mmbls - now 161 mmbls
Adal 48 mmbls - now 114 mmbls.
Etifal 46 mmbls - now 126 mmbls.
Mena 40 mmbls - now 54 mmbls.
Eyis 36 mmbls - now 69 mmbls.

The above 7 prospects previously had 330 mmbls unrisked recoverable. That has now increased by 85% to 607 mmbls unrisked recoverable.
Kiski not previously listed - now 25 mmbls.
Eridal 29 mmbls and Amdigh 53 mmbls were not mentioned in any of the previous presentations.
Some of the above still have to have the Upper Yogou targets evaluated which may add further bls.

10 evaluated prospects listed above (some upper yogou still to be evaluated) have a combined 714 mmbls

I bought another 90,000 on the pull back. Held now for 2 years and a further few weeks of waiting to spud is neither here nor there. Would just like to see confirmation on what way the next 6-7 wells are funded after our first 3. Would prefer to see no farmout and the institutions stomp up in a bookbuilding to cover those extra wells. Even my previous minimum 25% success rate expectation would now almost translate to double the recoverable numbers than those previous.

Here is Malcy's reaction on Twitter :-

Just come out of SAVP presentation and seen ludicrous share price movement. I know oil is falling but things here are v good.

Am aware that some punters wanted to hear of a farm-out which I am sure is not far away, at least before first well which is in Aug. B/List+

I don't know your financial situation but my intentions were always to hold for at least the three funded wells.

The only bad thing of substance was the no show of a JV partner:

Other than that, I saw no reason to sell and foolishly increased my holding event though it will be weak for a few weeks. I have some hope that shame and embarrassment will spur the tartan muppet to conjure up something positive for Friday.

AK , you balding ginger idiot.

I hear that you have been shortlisted for the LSe Darwin awards along with the CFO of Hurricane.

You have caused this meltdown by promising significant news and then failing to deliver. What haggis fueled madness took hold of you son?

And as for you Jessica, I do think you are looking a bit beefy around the chops.

Still, I have availed of this self inflicted head wound, and now own far, far to many shares.

I hope you pair can do better on Fridays retail event. I believe crow is on the menu?

ifthecapfits, something has changed - there is a 2 month delay so not the widely heralded H1 spud date - and it is still just 'discussions' of farm-in, no further details or any milestones for completion, which is something I would like to have seen if this was really happening..

It took a few bites but pleased to have been able to use the liquidity this afternoon to build a good size initial position.

That some 96% of short term traders lose money over the longer term can often throw up some great investment opportunities for the patient long term investor.
